Benedict Cumberbatch says Sherlock is "a LOT stranger" than Doctor Strange

"Strange?" quipped Sherlock actor/writer Mark Gatiss. "No, no," retorted Cumberbatch. "Sherlock is a lot more effing strange than Strange, strangely enough." Pausing while the Hall H crowd laughed, he added: "I think that’s the difference: Strange is fully humanised. He does seek control throug♉h the perfection of his work.
"He's a workaholic, but he does have emotional ties and relationships. He’s a man of the sen🔴sory world, and Sherlock certainly is trying to curtail those appetites to concentrate on being the best consulting detective in the world.
"And c♊ulturally they’re utterly different," Cumberbatch concluded. "One’s very English, one’s very American."
