The description ‘all-singing, all-dancing’ could quite literally be applied to Boogie: Superstar, as it uses the karaoke/rhythm-action template of last year’s Boogie. But it’s not amazing enough to earn the same metaphorical praise. The story holding up the warbling and prancing has been rejigged so that this is now a casual, girl-centric, X Factor-style affair. The songs are much more contemporary this time around, ⛄but the basic remote-waving dancing is much the same. The beat-matching seems a little off, and you won’t be entirely convinced that the moves you’re performing need to bear much relation to what you’re being asked to do.

The singing also doesn’t demand a great deal of prec🌜ision – you just need to get the pitch more or less right and don’t have even have to sing the correct lyrics. But this isn’t a game for the Rock Band crowd – it’s for pre-teen Bratz fans, and we suspect they’ll love it regardless.
