The artist formally known as Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch (or Mark Wahlberg to his agen🀅t) has been discussing The Departed with♓ , and he has some good news for us all – Martin Scorsese may be creating his first franchise, with two new movies in the development stage.

“We may do another one, because it's based on a Hong Kong film, and there is a trilogy,” Wahlberg postulated. “So we may do a sequel with a new castꦰ, and a prequel and bring bac꧙k the rest of the guys.”

That might seem a little vague – but Wahlberg weighed꧒ in with some firmer facts, which is one of the reasons we like him so much.

“They’re talking to Robert De Niro and a couple of other💫 people,” he said. “Anybody who is anybody wants to work with Marty.”

So, not one but two new Infernal Affairs remakes, with at least one offe🦩ring the opportunity to see🌠 De Niro back with Marty?

To paraphrase Wahlberg’s old band, this is giving us both good vibrations and sweet sensations. Which is lovely.
