Disney survey points to Epic Mickey sequel

Disney's Epic Mickey, the company's collaboration with Deus Ex developer Warren Spector, was particularly well received in GamesRadar’s review, but the Wii-exclusive platformer didn’t receive the attention we felt it deserved. Still, there’s good news for Disney fans in the form of a survey, suggesting that a sequel is in the works.

Here's four prospective covers for a potential Disney title that might be called Epic Mickey 2: Return of the Mad Doctor, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey 2: Mystery on Mean Street, or just plain old Epic Mickey 2. According to , the game, survey participants were told, would reunite Mickey and his long-lost brother, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a prototypal Disney animated character licensed out but regained by the studio in 2006. Mickey's paint and thinner from the first game would be joined by Oswald's power🐠s of flight and lightning, with the game supporting two-player split-screen play in “a world filled with Disney's forgotten characters.”
