Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is here, and this is what's in store
Everything you need to know about F🌳ortnite Chapter 2 Season 5
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has finally begun after an epic event with Galactus, and we've got the details on everything new. There's more details below, but by far the biggest change for Fortnite this season is that ol' Mando is here, titular character from the Star Wars show on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Disney Plus, The Mandalor༺ian. He's brought Baby Yoda with him and the pair are just one of many changes in Fortnite Chapter💧 2 Season 5.
1. Mando and Baby Yoda join the party
In conjunction with Season 2 of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Mandalorian kicking off on Disney+, Mando and Baby Yoda are in Fortnite. Mando has quests for battle pass owners to complete, and two Star Wars items have made their way to the game. The Mandalorian Jetpack is a reskin of the previous jetpacks in the game, while the Amban Sniper Rifle can double as both a gun 𝐆and a melee weapon.
2. Dragon's Breath Shotgun and Amban Sniper Rifle
The latter has been mentioned above – the Amban Sniper Rifle from Star Wars can be used at both range and to punch enemies – but there's also another brand new weapon in the form of the Dragon's Breath Shotgun. This is a powerful behemoth of a weapon that has four shells per rou🐓nd, and fires all four at once, de💮aling a potential of 170+ damage. It also deals splash damage, perfect for dealing with groups of enemies.
3. Four new mythical weapons
Mythical weapons have re🌼turned 🉐in the form of the following:
- Boom's Sniper Rifle
- The Dub
- Shadow Tracker
- Night Hawk
Although previous mythic weapons were usually found by killing the boss AI enemies around the map, there don't seem to be any so far ꦑt♕his season so it's likely these can be found as general loot. These are generally more powerful versions of existing weapons in the game, like The Dub is a double-barreled shotgun.
4. Tilted Towers returns!
Tilted Towers is back! ꩲYeah, we couldn't believe it either. It's now called Salty Towers though and is somewhat submerged in sand, thanks to it now being on the edge of a desert. It still has most of tౠhe classic buildings though, including, y'know, the massive tower block in the middle.
5. More new places of interest
Along with Tilted Towers coming back, there ar🔯e so🃏me more new places of interest to explore. Butter Barn is a flapjack-themed saloon by a river, Colossal Coliseum is a huge Roman... coliseum with statues decorating the exterior, plus there are two futuristic-looking battle locations at Stealthy Stronghold and Hunter's Haven with plenty of loot to be had.
6. Gold and bounties are the rewards you seek
There's a new form of currency in the game; 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite gold bars. These can be used for a plethora of new additions, including upgrading your existing weapons and buying new ones. You can even hire a personal bodyguard to assist you in fights, which is wild. You obtain more gold bars by killing enemies, completing quests and bounties (which are essentially new mini-challenges), and findi🧸ng hidden stashes around the map.
7. You can hide in the desert sand
There is now a giant desert area covering the middle of the island, and you can actually use all that sand to your advantage by remaining hidde♛n. Simply stand still on the sand for a couple of seconds and you'll sink below the surface, where you can then move around with little more than a small mound showing. Sneak up on an unsuspecting opponent, then leap out to take them by surprise and hopefully grab a quick elimination.
