It was first reported back in 2021 that Cavill was in talks to star in a Stahelski-directed Highlander reboot as the eponymous Scottish swordsman, but its trail went cold until just recently when Stahelski teased the project and franch♒ise potential. Now we have our most concrete update yet, with reporting that Lionsgate is bringing the project to th🌱e American Film Market.
The reboot is based on the 1986 original that stars Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, and Clancy Brown as three immortal warriors competing aga🍸inst each other through time in an effort to grow even more powerful. It's silly, bombastic, and successful, having birthed a franchise that today includes five mಞovies and three TV series.
Stahelski served as director for all four John Wick movies and is also signed on to helm the upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Tsushima movie adaptation. After earning an English degree from ASU, I worked as a corporate copy editor while freelancing for places like SFX Magazine, Screen Rant, Game Revolution, and MMORPG on the side. I got my big break here in 2019 with a freelance news ဣgig, and I was hired on as GamesRadar's west coast Staff Writer in 2021. That means I'm responsible for managing the site's western regional executive branch, AKA my home office, and writing about whatever horror game I'm too afraid to finish.
