Hoffman set for Synechdoche
Oscar nab🍸ber lines up for Eternal Sunshine scribblers helming debut
Philip Seymour Hoffman currently occupies an enviable status among Hollywood’s hottest stars in that the Capote Oscar scooper is a people’s favourite and an ‘actor’s actor.’ Able to get his hands mucky in the rough and tumble of the summer blockbuster – M:i:IꦯII - while keeping his cred for the 🦋more discerning flicks such as the up-coming Synechdoche.
The intriguingly named project will mark the directorial debut for Eternal Sunshin🎀e Of The Spotless Mind scribe Charlie Kaufman and is also set to star Oscar nominee Michelle Williams.
The tale centres on a tormentౠed playwright and his ch🥀equered love life and is set to start shooting next summer.
For the ill-♔informed, the word synecdoche is a figure of speech in which a part is substituted for a whole or a whole for a part, as in 50 head of cattle for 50 cows, or the army for a soldier!!! At least that’s what it says in the Co🤡llins dictionary…
