A lot of people ragged on Predators when it was released in theaters, but you know what? I liked it! It didn't demand anything, it had lšoads of violence, and anybody who tries to argue that the original movies were anything more than silly action distractions is high. It was a good movie and, shockingly, a good game came out for it.
You wouldn't expect an iPhone movie spin-off gšame to be anything short of dreadful, but Predators is really quite decent and well worth the surprisingly meager asking price. Taking on the role of one of the titular alien hunters, players must complete a variety of tasks ź¦in order to become an elite killing machine.
With a bunch of simple attacks combos and a whole host of movie-flavored Predator weapons including wristblades, plasma cannon, and long killing stick of killing, Predatorsš” does a decent job of putting one into the boots of a dreadlocked psychopath. It actually does a far better job than recą¼ent console outings have ever done.
Sometimes the controls seem unresponsive, and the same forest arena feels pretty repetitive after the while, but tš„he various upgrades and the rather brutal gore should keep players coming back. It's actually one of the better Predator games I've ever played, and I've played a lot, including that old Commadore 64 one!
