Boyega promises that we’ll “find out more later,” but this is the internet, damn it, and Star Wars fans are impatient💞! So while we wait, let’s see if we can break this down ourselves and learn anything from 𒐪it.

The word in question is bio-hexacrypt, so let’s take it piece by piece. “Bio” means life. “Hexa” means six. A “crypt” can be a chamber containing coffins or religious artifacts, but it more likely refers to the ancient Greek work kryptos, meaning “hidden.” With all of 🧸that in mind, it seems to me that we can infer that in The Last Jedi, Finn either encounters or references a lock of some kind that features a six-level security system, and at least one of those levels requires a fingerprint, blood sample, eye scan, or some other biological proof of identitꦓy.

From what we’ve seen so far of Snoke, General Hux, The First Order, and especially the tempestuous Kylo Ren, it doesn’t seem like any of them would have the patience to install something like that on any of their property. So in my wild speculation, I wondered if maybe Finn comes face to face with the surviving members of Kanjiklub in the new movie. (Remember the gang that included the Indonesian actors from The Raid movies? That’s Kanjiklub.) After all, they weren’t too happy with Han Solo the last time we saw them, and Finn and Han were on the same side. But describes them as being improvised street fighters, so a bio-hexacrypt doesn’t quite seem like their🍬 style, either.

But that reminded me of the Guavian Death Gang (above), the other organization Solo ran afoul of during The Force Awakens. They’re much more technologically advanced, and according to , their soldiers “undergo cybernetic augmentation, with a mechanical reservoir and pump injecting chemicals into their bloodstreams to enhance speed and aggression.” Ding ding ding - we might finally have a winner! Again, this is all just speculation, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Rian Johnson brings the Guavian Death Gang back into the mix and has Finn (and maybe Poe) need t෴o steal som🐻ething of theirs to achieve their goals.

It also sounds like it could have something to do with the Jedi - possibly a piece of security to protect some of the order’s secrets. If that’s case, maybe Finn and Rey reunite in this film and Finn helps her unlock some information about the history of the Jedi. (Maybe revealing mꦚore about Luke’s failed training of Kylo Ren and who the mysterious Knights of Ren are?) We’ll wait for Boyega to reveal more information, but we’ll find out the whole truth when The Last Jedi hits theaters later this year.
