First Movie I Ever Saw

Well, I can’t remember THE first film I saw but my earliest recollections would have to be Predator, Alien, Child's Play, Wizard of Oz and Ghostbusters .

Alien definitely had the most impact. Sigourney Weaver is so am🅠azing in that film. She's a complete badass.

Movie All Kids Should See At School

I first watched this in middle school when I was twelve൩ years ol🃏d.

In a way it’s very communist but it wasn’t glorifying the ideolog𝄹y.ꦗ As a kid, I was thinking, ‘Imagine if all these things were taken away from you!’

I haven’t watched the film since then but I remember feeling i🔜t much deeper than just the images on the scr𝔉een. It was very impacting.

Movie I Should Have Seen But Haven't

Because I wanted to see it the other night and missed it. I’m a fan of Lars Von Trier and specifically Antichrist because I enjoy ♚it when I don’t know about a film before I see it.

So when I heard Von Trier was making another film I was like, ‘I’m not going to read about it, I don’t wanna know until I go and see it.’ That's always the best way to go into fi൲lms anyway.

Movie Everyone Hates But I Love

There's probably a lot of these, but this 💛surely tops the list...

I saw this with a friend of mine - she hated it and I loved it. It's so un-Coppola. ꦿHe’s, what, 70 now? If you’re a fan of his work it’s cool to see him continue to create films at that age and not feel he has to live up to anyone’s expectations.

Movie That Always Makes Me Cry

Because it’s so awful.

But, yeah... When the whale soars through🥃 𒀰the air...

It’s a long, slow🌠✤ shot and it always gets me.

Movie I'd See As A Last Request

Because it’s a little absurd and a little funny while never straying into totally slapstick comedy. So you get a nice mix of different kinds o🐠f humour.

You know... just thinking you’re going to die at the end. It's a really bizarr🅷e way 🐟to go out...

Movie I'd Love To See Remade

Way too many remakes right now, it’s really disturbi♚ng.

Especially with horror films. It's like⛄ one remake after another. I’m over it. People can’t even make films the way they used to.

Take a film like 2001 . A remake of that would be all CG. And h🎃alf the bizarre things in it aren’t going to be taken o꧒ut.

Let’s go to the other end of the spectrum - They Live ... A remake that I hear they’re actually going to do. There’s a certain tone and feel and look to the originals. If we can’t even make original films like that today, how are we supposed to remake them? Urgh, no...

Movie I'd Take To A Desert Island

Oh yeah! Because I think if I was stuck on a desert island this would remind me that, ‘Hey, being stuck on this islandꦆ isn✱’t so bad...'

Movie I Love But No-One's Heard Of

This is a Crispin Glover film. I love it because it’s so bizarre, unconventional and because you have to see in the theatre.

He hasn’t released it on DVD and as of now he doesn’t have plans to. He tour💫s with the film so it’s a cool interactive experience. He comes and presents the film a💝nd he does a Q&A. That’s cool within itself.

It’s great. It’s a two piece film, and when he screened the second part, It is Fine . Everything is Fine! He screened them both together. Very cool.
