New Backbone game coming in 2022 gets a snowy streets pixel art tease
A speedy followup for the narrative adventure

Backbone, the narrative adventure with👍 beautiful pixel art and a depressed raccoon protagonist, is getting a followup gamꦰe next year.
Developer EggNut🍎 revealed a brief teaser video for the new project, which rolls across a deserted city street which wouldn't look out of place in the first Backbone, i♌f not for all the snow. The original game took place in "dystopian Vancouver," so this could certainly be the same overall setting at a different point in time.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Sup❀er Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
