Japanese gamers will next week be able to download a free patch for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection on PS3 which adds a host of new modes and tweaks, including DualShock 3 support.

A new Pickup Match mode inc𓃲luded in the update will allow you to fight it out in one-on-one maꦉtches in quick succession without the need to go through a matchmaking room.

The update will also allow you to name - and view names foꦐr - rooms, as well as adding a new 'flag' option so you can flag or search for rooms with particular play conditions.

Chไanges to the World Rank Match setting means that when you turn World Ranking off, the game won't track your win/lose count and you won't earn battle points.

There's currently no word on when this update will be released to region🔜s outside of Japan.
