Best Boxing Day PS5 deals in Australia: shop consoles, games and accessories
2024 is stumbling towards the finish line, but not without one more deals extravaganza.

Boxing Day sales are meant to be over, but as is usually the case, some of 🐓the deals will likely linger beyond that strict December 26 sales period. Below, you'll find all the remaining deals on PS5 consoles, games and accessories.
It hasn't been the most impressive sales season for PS5, but that's no surprise given h🍃ow incredible Black Frid𒁏ay was. We didn't see any big discounts on consoles during Boxing Day, but we did see some great cuts on newish PS5 games, some of which you'll find listed below.
PS5 Boxing Day console & accessory deals

Look: this isn't the best deal on the PS5 Slim we've seen. eBay was selling it for a frankly scandalous AU$578 during Black Friday, and Amazon's best price during that sale season was AU$629. Still, this is a discount, and so far it's the best we've found for Boxing Day. We're still𓃲 hopeful of something better, mind you, so we'll update this page if something better comes a💎long.

If you're happy to purchase and download all your games via the PlayStation Store, there's currently a AU$50 discount on the discless Digital🍨 version of the Slim console at both and . As with the d🌠isc version above, we've seen this version cheaper at previous sales in 2024, where it can sometimes hit the AU$530 mark.

DualSense controllers are another perennial item that gets discounted in big annual sales, and you can get a variety of colours for AU$84 from Amazon, including:

You don't hear much about these wireless buds made especially by Sony for PS5, but they exist, and our colleagues over at thought they were good. They're almost perfect for the PlayStation Portal, and can double as your commuting 'phones if you fancy the PlayStation branding. They feature multi-devic✱e connectivity, integrated mics (for both gaming and phone convos) and AI-enhanced "noise rejection".

This much sought after premium set of wireless headphones work for PC, PlayStation and Switch, an꧑d always sell very well when they're drastically discounted. They boast both 2.4Ghz wireless capability and Bluetooth, as well as active noise cancellation and a ClearCast Gen 2 microphone. This price🎀 isn't quite as good as the Black Friday AU$479 offering, but it's still drastically lower than RRP.

This 4.5-star scoring JRPG from genre masters Atlus should need no introduction if you're a fan of either the form or the developer, offering a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"triumphant evolution" of the recipe that Atlus pioneered with its Persona games. Note that this is the better deal on Amazon AU at the moment, but it does ship from Amazon UK. If you w༒ant the Australian edition, .

While opinions on this latest title from Team Ninja (best known for its Ninja Gaiden and Nioh series') were a little divided, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:in our review we praised the samurai action-epic for both its combat and enjoyably explorable world. If you're a fan of the studio then chanc👍es are you'll dig it too, and this Boxing Day deal brings it back down to its equal-lowest price on Amazon.

While this Ubisoft-developed open-world Star Wars game arrived to a slightly mixed reception, the developer has acknowledged that certain elements needed more refinement and has 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:committed to improving the game to meet fan expectations. It's already delivered many quality-of-life tweaks via a couple of subsequent patches, 🤪so with this 46% discount now could be a great time to pick it up. The Gold Edition that includes the season pass is reduced by an .

A brilliant discount on this very recently released BioWare RPG, which we didn't expect to get this cheap so soon. According to our review it's "an approachable, expansive action-oriented RPG," and a "true en𒁃d to whatever the franchise💝 was before". This was going for AU$69 during Black Friday, so this price is the best we've seen yet.
Save AU$63.96
Nice price for a JRPG that'll keep you busy for a hundred or so hours, if you're being thorough. It's the second in the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga, and as a result it's probably wise to before you tackle this one. But you can just not take my advice; that's fine too. Some of us are just in it for the Queen's Blood mini-game afterall. This is cheaper than the best Black Friday price of AU🥃$65, so now's a good time to bite.

This year's sportsball videogame is definitely the most recent in the series, and it launched for the RRP of AU$109.95 only three months ago. We called it "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:highly playable, yet naggingly 💮familiar", which is the annualised sports seri♓es vibe in a nutshell. Still, AU$39 only a couple months since release is hard to argue with: it only dropped to AU$49 during Black 🎶Friday.

It's not uncommon for 2K's NBA series to drop dramatically in p🎃rice just months after release, and the most recent instalment isn't breaking the trend. That makes it a brilliant stocking stuffer, or else just a financially viable thing to buy for yourself (though as is usually the case with NBA 2K, expect to be pestered with in-game mone𓂃tisation schemes; if you can ignore those, it's a brilliant series).
Amazon's offering up a half-decent selection of other PS5 game discounts for Boxing Day, too. These are the ones that caught our eye:
• AU$109.95 AU$64
• AU$124.95 AU$55
• AU$109.95 AU$59
• AU$79.95 AU$54
• AU$59.95 AU$24
The DualSense controller doesn't get many discounts nowadays: not even Black Friday offered any significant discounts on the AU$119.95 controller. The rarity of deals on the PS5's premium gamepad is a bit of an issue, because these things are very prone to stick drift and trigger button wear (I've needed to upgrade mine annually). All that said, AU$84 for a new DualSense on Amazon is well worth forking out for, even if you don't need one right now. That price is only available on 💯certain models, including , the and the . The Sterling Silver model adds an extra buck for a AU$85 price, while the is currently going for AU$300: AU$39.95 cheaper than usual.
This is a big one: Amazon is currently offloading the whopping 2TB WD Black SN850X NV𒆙Me drive , which is, uh, cheaper than so🐠me retailers are selling the 1TB model for.
It comes equipped with a heatsink and is definitely compatible with the PS5. It features on our list of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the best PS5 SSDs, after all.
𒅌This one ships from Amazon Germany, but there are no shipping fees.🐟 I'd highly recommend jumping on this if you need more storage on PS5 (and let's face it: everyone needs that).
Amazon's on the Western Digital SN80X 2TB NVMe drive💙 with heatsink sold out temporarily, but it seems to be back in stock for now.
Just a quick update with some great PS5 and PS4 game discounts that don't really deserve their own post but may pique your interest if you've yet to play them. God of War Ragnarok is currently going , which is actually the lowest price🦹 ever on that storefront.
Also of note is LEGO Horizon Adventures going for 💟(down from AU$109.95), which is a decent price for a game that only released in late October. I would never fork out the RRP for this one as g꧂ood as it is, but for AU$68 this is a nice chillaxed co-op game for the holidays.
Also consider:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (down from AU$109.95)
Rise of the Ronin released back in March, and while it's absent from most GOTY lists, it's a superb action game from the studio behind Nioh and Ninja Gaiden. If you can imagine the Japan-set Assassin's Creed you've always dreamed of, with gloriously fluid Team Ninja samurai combat, that's basically what Rise of the Ronin is. , down from the RRP of AU$124.95 (though realis🧸tically, the going price is generally closer to AU$80). If y♛ou're after a relatively breezy action game with a gorgeous open world and a surprisingly byzantine plot, I really can't recommend it enough. It's not GOTY material, but it's brilliant fun.
Presumably because it's still widely played two years on, Elden Ring for PS5 doesn't get very many sales, and when it does it tends not to drop too dramatically. So for the base version of the game—not including Shadow of th🍸e Erdtree—may be extremely tempted i🦋f you're yet to dive into FromSoftware's modern RPG classic.
To be clear, this isn't an all-time-low, but it's close: it was down to AU$57.79 earlier this🍬 week, which is only marginally cheaper.
We've had the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless at the top of our list of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best PS5 headsets for a while now. It's an incredible headset, but it's also sadly AU$735 at RRP, which is almost the price of a PS5. I know I'm not spending that much on a headseꦗt.
Amazon's Boxing Day sale has the wireless headset , which is a nice 32% discount and a saving of AU$236. That is still obviously quite expensive for a headset, but if you happen to have the cash and the desire to fork out that much for audio, we strongly recommend it. In his 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:five star review Rob Dwiar described it as "the new premium, gold-standard for🔴 wireless heads✨ets".
While 32% is a good discount, it has been ch✤✨eaper before—as cheap as AU$455.49—but it'll probably be a while before it drops to that price again.
We just thought we'd spotlight some super cheap 2024 games, lest you wanted to buy these at launch, managed to abstain, and are now looking to reap the rewards for your self-control. These are all under AU$25, which is great. None of them are particularly good, which is not so great.
Still, fans of South Park and Suicide Squad probably won't want to miss game adaptations of those series', while Skull and Bones is a pretty fun pirate game if you don't mind live service𓂃 game design. Overall, it's noteworthy that all of these can be had for less than AU$25, though if you've🅷 got a decent PC you can actually get Suicide Squad for as little as .
(Just a lil' context on that one:🌠 Suicide Squad was meantꦕ to be an ongoing live service game but its imminent fourth season will be its last.)

We've had this listed above🧔 for a few days now, but it's really worth spotlighting this brilliant deal on D🌳ragon Age: The Veilguard. This blockbuster RPG from BioWare only released two months ago, so it's quite astonishing to see it already goingon Amazon . At that price, you should have no reservations about checking it out.
Thꦑat said, its publisher EA tends to dramatically discount 🏅its games after around six months on sale (See the Star Wars Jedi games) so there's every chance this will go for less in 2025. Still, this would make a great summer game.
As the Boxing Day sales season draws to an end, we thought we'd collect some choice d꧋iscounts on PS4 games. These all work on PS5 as well, so it's always worth keeping an eye out for great discounts. In most cases, the PS4 version will upgrade to the PS5 version free of charge if you put the disc into the new gen console.
