Riddick 3 is called Dead Man Stalking

Never has a working title needed more, um, work.

Corona Coming Attractions David Twohy’s script for the third Riddick flick🐽 starring Vin Diesel, and they’ve revealed the sequel’s official title.

Without further ado, it’s... The Chronicles Of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking .

Wait, is that crickets we hear? Um🔥, yeah, so Twohy’s gone for a puntastic re-word of that dramatic tearjerkꦍer from 1995 starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn.

Why? Well, because gleaming-eyed ex-con Riddick is going to be stalked by deadly cr𒉰eatures back on his home planet of F♋urya. Geddit?

Sigh. The good news is that other than the dodgy title, reactions to ꦛthe script for the third instalment in the franchise are generally off-the-charts positive.

According to CCA , the story finds Riddick a new man, ditching his Necromonger crown (he hands it to Vakko, played by Karl Urban in Chronicles ) and heads back to Furya. But there, he falls prey to creatures and me♔rcenaries who want his blood.

CCA liken the film to the Mad Max series, calling it this franchise’s Road Warrior . Which basically means is pared back and tough as nails, taking place “on a world where there’s three moons and mud demo𝕴ns and trisons and two shipfuls of mercs hunting down the galaxy’s most wanted man”.

We should also expect this Riddick t🤡o go R all the way, with dialogue that will turn the alien air blue, and a smart script that reveals “how crafty and deadly Riddick is at the top of his game”.

Call us stupid, but we’re really looking forward to this. Pitch Black remains perhaps the best flick of Vin Diesel's (and David Twohy’s) career. So with their PG shackles cast o🅺ff, who knows what kind of madness they’ll be able to dream up for this re-team.

Let’s just see about sorting out that 🃏title, eh fellas?

What's next... Riddick 4: Kingdom Of The Necromonger's Skull ? Think this title needs changing pronto?
