SEGA's restructure creates new opportunities for Australia

This morning SEGA Australia sent out a press release in💯forming of the, which resulted in the closi🐻ng of offices in France, Spain, Germany, Benelux and Australia.
The ౠbusiness has decided to shift its focus onto "dev🗹eloping new and existing digital content, as well as driving key IP for packaged goods."
Former Managing Director of SEGA Australia has taken this oppꦬortunity to set up Five Star Games, which from July 1st will assist with the distribution of SEGA titles🔴 across Benelux and Australia.
SEGA's press release has said that "Five Star is focused exclusively on selling, marketing and distributing premium quality video games in the Australian market꧒."
Jurgen Post, COO of SEGA Euro🦂pe has said "SEGA is entering a new and exciting phase that will position the company as a content led organisation maximising sales with strong and balanced IP such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Total War, Football Manager and the Aliens franchise," he goes on to say "the company will benefit from a clear focus and realigneไd strategy for our digital business and packaged goods and we are confident that this will lead to a successful future."
This news definitely comes as a shock, especially with the release of The London 𒉰2012 - The Official Video Game♔ of the Olympic Games yesterday. SEGA has confirmed though that all sales, marketing and distribution of The London 2012 Olympics video game will go ahead as planned.
