Star Wars actor Anthony Daniels argued with JJ Abrams over C-3P0's red arm
Here's a bit of Star Wars trivia; Anthony Daniels is one of the very few people who can say they hav🍷e appeared in each of the seven Star Wars films to date. The actor recently reprised the role o🏅f C-3P0 in The Force Awakens and is currently filming Rian Johnson's Episode 8.
This past weekend Daniels took a break from filming to attend the Jameson Empire Awards, and while speaking to 💧 he revealed that there was o🅺ne point of contention between him and director JJ Abrams while they were on set of The Force Awakens - the issue of C-3P0's red arm.
"The one thing that J.J. and I argued about was the fact that I didn’t like the red arm. C-3PO doesn’t like the red arm! Being the director he said ‘You’re gonna have a red arm.’ But have you noticed, because he listened to me, that the last frame of C-3PO waving at th💫e Millennium Falcon was with a gold arm! And J.J. did that – love it."
If you're interested in just how C-3P0 got his red limb, all will be explained in an upcoming comic book. As for Daniels, he's clearly as excited as ever to be playing C-3P0 once again in Episode 8; "Rian has of course taken over from where J.J. left off – what a responsibility! Bu൲t, am I having fun? Yes!"
Directed by JJ Abrams and starring Harrison Ford, Car♎rie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Adam Driver, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available to digital dowℱnload on April 11, 2016, and out on DVD and Blu-Ray on April 5, 2016 in the US and April 18, 2016 in the UK.
