Like so many sci-fi horror stories, Parasite Eve should be a happy tale about our cellular mitochondria revealing themselves to be one giant hive-mind and teaming up to create the ultimate life form. But it all goes wrong when A) the mitochondria decide th🥂ings would be better without all those “people&rdq༒uo; tramping around, and B) that life form tears its way out of the womb looking like the image above.

But not to worry – it eventually evolves into a floating, aquatic-looking turquoise humanoid with a head shaped like a penis.💙 Which is, ironically, much less scary.
