The 56th BFI London Film Festival has announced this year’s event will open on Wednesday 10 October with the European Premiere of , the new stop-motion 3D animation directed by Tim Burton ( The Corpse Bride , The Nightmare Before Christmas ).

Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie is a 🐎tale about a boy and his dog, with an undead twist.

After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor h🌳arnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life - with just a few minor adjustments.

He tries to 𒐪hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new 'l🅺eash on life' can be monstrous.
