<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-10T21:07:26Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Hollow Knight: Silksong sure was mentioned a lot at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, but it didn't deign to show up, with developer Team Cherry only re𒀰iterating via a timely Discord message that the game will be out before t🍨he holiday꧙ season.

The long-awaited Metroidvania sequel did, however, briefly appear via gameplay footage shown on the newly announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ROG Xbox Ally, raising more than one eyebrow 🅘among the fatigued Holl🌌ow Knight community.

"I hear it's🦄 gonna play Silksong when it comes out," Official Xbox Podcast host Jeff Rubenstein tells Spencer , roundin🐈g out a discussion on the Xbox Ally reveal.

"That's right, that's right," Spencer begins. "Thank you. 🤡That was a good partnership, to kind of feed them in and have them play a role in our hardware lineup."

Spencer stops the Silksong train then and there. Xbox has been burned on Silksong hype before, famously in𒀰dicating thrꦯee years ago that the game would be out within a year, but has grown more reserved as Team Cherry's lip🌃s grew tighter and its development pipeline stretch𓂃ed ever longer.

The Silksong army, burrowing through even the thinnest Steam backend updates like termites through wood, has kept a close record of every tease, trace, and theory around, and a lot of them do orbit Xbox. I can't definitively say that Spencer spoke with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询🔯:the expectatio🔴ns of the Skong faithful weighing on his nerves, but he was certainly quick 🉐to talk about what are now the most commo🍸nplace games of all time instead.

"But it is really about playing the Windows games that you wanna play," he says of the Xbox Ally. "So if you're a big Roblox player, if you're a Fortnite player, if you're a Minecraft player, if you love Game Pass, we want to make sure the way you'💧ve built your library as a player, and the games tꦍhat you want to go play, are available on this device and that they play incredibly well."

ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X "have access to all the games you can play on Windows PCs," so you'll be able to play PlayStation games like The Last of Us and God of War.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> With 40 Karts and 50 unique characters to pick from, there are countless combinations to decipher when it comes to the best Mario Kart world set up. After comparing the stats and trying out the combinations for ourselves, we’v⭕e found the t💟op 5 best Mario Kart world character and kart combos whether you’re hoping to jump into a grand prix or running time trials.

1. Baby Peach and Baby Blooper

Baby Peach driving in the Baby Boomer kart in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 1.2
Acceleration: 3.2
Weight: 0.8
Handling: 2.8

When p💝laying online or in a standard Grand Prix, you want to prioritize acceleration over speed to allow yourself to recover from an item hit as quickly as possible. Considering there are now 23 other racers who can bombard you with items rather than just 11, this Baby Peach and Baby Blooper combo gives you the highest acceleration possible so you can get going again when you slip on a banana peel.

2. Bowser and Charging Truck

Bowser driving the Charging Truck kart in Mario Kart World on an icy track

Stats:
Speed: 3.2
Acceleration: 0.8
Weight: 3
Handling: 1

Pairing Bowser with the Charging Truck gives you the fastest possible combination in the game in terms of speed making this a great option for Time Trials where you don’t have to worry about items. You can also opt for the Reel Racer, Junkyard Hog, and Stellar Sled for the same speed, too, with other stats slightly adjusted, so feel free to choose what suits you best. The downside of this combination is that you have lower acceleration, meaning it’ll take you longer to speed back 🌠up if you’re constantly being shafted by items.

3. Rosalina and Stellar Sled

Rosalina riding the Stellar Sled kart across the snow in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 3
Acceleration: 1
Weight: 2.6
Handling: 1.4

Another high-speed option is Rosalina and Stellar Sled, where you can achieve extremely h🍃igh speeds and still maintain some level of accelerat💜ion and handling. For those who are looking for a fast combination but want that slight handling edge when compared to Bowser and Charging Truck, then this is the best Mario Kart World setup.

NB - You will have to unlock Rosalina by playing through the Star Cup Grand Prix, and the Stellar Sled through collecting coins.

Our full guides on how to unlock Mario Kart World characters and how to unlock Mario Kart World karts are here for more info.

4. Bowser and Baby Blooper

Bowser leaping in the air driving the Baby Blooper kart in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 2.4
Acceleration: 1.8
Weight: 2.2
Handling: 1.6

Using the B🐷aby Blooper, which provides you with great acceleration🦋 and speed, paired with a heavyweight character like Bowser, ensures you have a good balance between all of the stats you need. This allows you to speed up but still have good control of the Kart for drifting and swerving items. If you do inevitably get hit by a red shell or ten, you have a good acceleration level to build speed back up. Both this Kart and character are available right from the get-go too, so you don’t have to worry about unlocking them.

5. Dry Bones and Roadster Royale

Dry Bones riding the Roadster Royale in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 1.6
Acceleration: 2.6
Weight: 1.4
Handling: 2.4

This combination, similar to Bowser 𓄧and Baby Blooper, gives you a good spread of stats, perfect for those who are just starting out. The higher acceleration is good to get back on your feet (or wheels in this case) after being hit by a red shell and the increasing handling allows you to tackle those tight corners and funky new Mario Kart world tracks with ease.

NB While Dry-Bones is available from the start, you will have to unlock the Roadster Royale via coin collection.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Now that both the Switch 2 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World are here, fans are learning the ins and outs of Nintendo's new racing game – including one very dedicated player, who h✤as managed to map eve🌱ry single "unique route" between race tracks.

Nintendo game modder🔯 and content creator "Getlucky" is the fan in question, and boy, have they outdone themselves. Showcasing each of the Intermission tracks, of which there are a whopping 202 in total, apparently, Getlucky highlights their work in a new and an accompanying video that explores every single one.

"There are 202 unique routes between tracks in 𝓀Mario Kart World," writes the player, a attached below their words.

"If you raced on all of them, it would take over 10 hours," concludes Getlucky – and sure enough, their linked video is a mind-boggling 10 hours, 16 minutes💞, and three seconds long. "Anyway, I spent yesterday doing that, here is all of🌠 them," they say.

Starting from Mario Bros. 🐼Cir🦂cuit and leading up to what might just stand as the most (in)famous Mario Kart track of all time, Rainbow Road, Getlucky zooms through the 202 unique routes.

It's impressive, and it can't be understated how long it took Getlucky to compile every one of the routes – while they say in the post that they spent "yesterday" (which would've been June 6) getting everything together, they confirm once more in their YouTube video's description that it did indeed consume quite a lot of time: "This took a very long time, I hope you enjoy." Talk about dedication – a genuinely commendable feat in the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:sort-of-open-world racer.

Other Mario Kart World fans seem to think so, too, and the comments prove as much. "Thank you for your sacrifice doing all the routes," replies one viewer. "This really scratched my brain," responds another, "thanks for making this!" Others watching say that they're going to now rank each of the 202 routes – a confident assertion that has me personally thinking one thing: good luck – although if Getlucky could map them, I'm sure someone could rank them.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> I'd hate to be the guy who releases a kart racing game months after 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World,൲ but Sonic the Hedgehog's dad Takashi Iizuka isn't phased, and says Mario's newest game is a different beast from Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Iizuka admits he hasn't yet had a go of the Switch 2 racer, but "from the videos, it looks like Nintendo did a good job of putting in a lot of fun, so it's more of like an action game. I see a lot of th🎶at coming through."

And to be fair, some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:wild tech that players are pulling off in Mario Kart does have the vibes of an action game.

But as for Sonic, the team at Sega is going for a different vibe. "Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds gameꦺ is different in that it was made by the Sega arcade racing team along with the Sonic Team" Iizuka says, adding "the focus really is on racing and on that competitive play."

He also speaks about the central mechanic of CrossWorlds in which you travel between different realm🦋s mid-race, "having the travel rings kind of change up the race every time you race. So even if you're playing the same course, you're going to have a different experience." He adds: "And there's something really different in the kart racing genre that we think everyone's going to get really excited about."

Iizuka also talked about cross-platform play being important to the team (something that was used as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:a dig at "another kart racing game" during its Summer Game Fest reveal). "So cross platform play is in there, and you can go ahead and race and hav𝓡e that compet𓆏itive experience against anyone on any platform. That really makes it exciting."

Plus, Sonic Racing has Ichiban Kasuga from Yakuza෴ and is rumored to be getting SpongeBob down the line, so suddenly that Cow isn't looking as cool as before.

Mario Kart World players have found the optimal way to unlock every vehicle, and it involves driving slowly behind a pedestrian car for 25 minutes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Nintendo has a tough task on its hands. The Nintendo Switch 2 picks up where the third-best-selling console of all time has left off. The original Switch took the world by storm, introducing a brand new hybrid way of play that helped it swallow up casual, hardcore, and even some competi🌳tive markets. This is the kind of innovative hardware that Nintendo is known for, and it’s damn hard to replicate.

So Nintendo didn't.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 takes its lead from its predecessor, offering (broadly) the same functionality and form factor. At its core, this is an easily reco💫🎉gnizable experience, the same docking system, same control scheme, same feel. But it's so much more than that on top.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is capable of running games that made the PS4 sweat, while still feeling like a slimline handheld. Sure, it pays for that performance in battery life, and it's not going to outgun a PS5 for a similar price. But, if you're looking for a portable device, though, it offers the confidence of a pick-up-and-play experience that even some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming handhelds running Windows can't replicate.

The larger screen, boos🍒ted resolution, speedy refresh rate, and improved Joy-Con make Nintendo's handheld range feel relevant again, and not just for hardcore fans of the brand.

Design

The Ni💙ntendo Switch 2 looks distinct enough to stand on its own from the original device, without flipping the rulebook in any immediately noticeable manner. The more tim🎀e I've spent with the handheld, though, the more obvious those differences become.

This is a real upgrade in both look and feel. The sleek matte black finish across the main tablet and Joy-Con is far more comfortable than the cheaper plastic of the classic device. It's smoother, softer, and far more premium in the hands - even if it does pick up minor scratches and dents a little easier. This is the exact same thickness as the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch OLED I've been testing against, ♐but the whole device feels far more sophi𒅌sticated.

The Nintendo Switch 2's ae🐭sthetic design makes it cl🅰ear that Ninty wants its system to grow up. The all-black look is certainly sleeker than the colorful original, but this is Nintendo, and we've still got a dash of fun here and there.

Hints of the original’s iconic red and blue aesthetic are present around the tꦐhumbsticks and in the internal connection between the Joy-Con and tablet. In keeping with the more mature ethos of the handhelds as a whole, these are more muted than shiny and bold.

The system is taller to make way for the bigger screen, and that means the Joy-Con are too. While I was hopeful for larger controllers this time around, we've only got a small increase on the width. That's a shame, I always felt the original gamepads were too skinny to truly feel comfortable for longer sessions and the same is still true here. Without the built-in grips of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Asus ROG Ally or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Deck OLED, the fla༺t back of the Nintendo Switch 2 is difficult to truly relax ꦅaround.

I do feel that strain after a couple of hours gameplay, needing to pause and stretch out my hand before continuing. That's a symptom of the lack of space🉐, but also the weight. The Nintendo Switch 2 co꧑mes in at 1.18lbs (535g) with the Joy-Con connected, that's 0.26lbs (115g) heavier than the Switch OLED. It's nowhere near the 1.34lbs weight of the Ally, but with that sheer drop around the rear it's still a little harder to hold in the air.

That's nothing new, though. The Switch has always had these comfort shortcomings and the inc🐭reased width does help to mitigate some of them. The additional height on the Joy-Con feels great 90% of the time, but I have noticed some drawbacks.

The first one I noticed during my preview testing. During a co-op 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World session I was lumped with the right Joy-Con, the one that has you stretch a little further to reach the thumbstick. The problem seems to be amplified now, with an uncomfortably large gap between the top of the controller and the stick itself. The second issue is relatively minor, though may prove more troublesome for younger players with smaller hands. The +/- buttons💟 are a significant reach now, which can make quick pauses slightly more cumbersome.

It's odd, however, that the magnets on the Joy-Con sides allow the controllers to be connected both upside down and back to front. The two times I've picked up the handheld (without the screen o𒐪n) to connect the Joy-Con so far, I've popped them on the wrong way around.

Whichever way you connect them, this is a significantly improved system. The rails on the Nintendo Switch 2's predecessor started showing their age fairly quickly, and the strength o🐎f the magnet as well as the easy quick-release button on the side, makes this a su🎃per slick experience overall.

The Joy-Con use a set of pins protruding from the tablet itself as a lock-on mechanism, something that initially spooked me when I first saw them. Having these sticking out the side of the device felt like a recipe for disaster, even if they are sheltered by the edges of the tablet itself. There's a little flex to these pins - but that could be a good thing. I've also been using the Genki Attack Vector grip, which does put a little more pressure on each side of the console during play. If those pins were rigid, I'd be worried about snapping them straight off, but the 🍨extra flexibility does give me a little more peꦦace of mind. Time will tell whether that flexibility becomes a problem in itself, though.

The rear hinge has been extended out across, almost, the full length of the tablet but I was surprised to see how skinny it is in real life. The Nintendo Switch OLED improved the stability of this hinge with its own wider implementation, but still remained durable with a whoℱle plate of plastic to work with. Here, we’ve got a slimline strip that sits on a particularly thin base.

🐷There's a little too much jiggle in this hinge for it to feel completely bomb-proof, but the strong tension in its movement gives me hope that it's sturdier than it looks. Pushing the Switch 2 onto its back while the hinge is extended doesn't cause it to buckle, for example, and there's no flex to the actual p𒉰lastic itself.

I also noticed that tabletop mode still puts pressure on the lower port if you want something plugged in while using it. This was the case back in the day of the original Switch as well, and even though you've now got another charging option in the top port I wasn't particularly comfortable plugging the 2.4GHz receiver for my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds underneath when that hinge was in play. As it iꦉs, the tablet's weight is currently being supported on the receiver itself - which is a recipe for port worry.

I have, however, noticed a few design upgrades that weren't on show before. The game card hinge has had a serꩵious glow-up, with extra supports in the main connector and a metallic plug that seals the gap iꦛn the console. That's a far sturdier solution to the often-mashed OLED version.

Overall, I’m a fan of the new Nintendo Switch 2 design. It looks like everything a second-generation handheld should, refined but still nodding back to its iconic mainstays, and feels like a major upgrade. Yes, it weighs a little more than the original, but that’s good weight, it’s the same thickness but it’s far more streamlined in the hand. It’s the diffဣerence between an ill-fitting and a well-tailored suit, cinched in all the right places to look much better without changing the core form factor.

Display

I'll get it out of the way now, the jump from an𒐪 OLED screen to an LED is noticeable, but this is still a good-looking panel.

In side-by-side comparisons of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Violet, the OLED presented brighter yellows and greens much better, with a more vivid picture overall and a punchier feel. By comparison, the Nintendo Switch 2 darkens these tones slightly. Its blacks aren't 𝓡as deep as those of the Nintendo Switch OLED, but it's still vibrant when it counts.

Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch OLED, and Nintendo Switch running Pokemon Shield and Sword

The vividness of Mario Kart World’s shone bright in testing, and I was impressed by how clean finer details🦋 like the pockets and stitching around Mario’s overalls appeared even in FHD. The 120Hz refresh rate stretched across the larger 7.9-inch display is the cherry on top.

Of course, Mario Kart World is the best way to truly put this screen’s speed to t꧑he test. Actual gameplay is much smoother - but tha꧙t’s a combination of the upgraded internals as well as the screen. Where that refresh rate comes into play is the smaller moments, the lack of motion blur around fast corners, the effortless glide of a Bullet Bill ride. Does it fundamentally change gameplay? No, and it likely won’t outside of the hardcore FPS crowd, but it’s a tangible improvement to the experience as a whole.

HDR is a slightly more complicated beast. The system does seem to be a little off in its implementation in certain games. I've noticed that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 and 澳洲幸运5🧔开奖号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild appear wash♎ed out with the HDR setting enabled. Switching the feature off reveals a far more punchy picture, with rich colors and greater impact overall.

Calibration seems to be the issue here, so I'm hopeful for ꦅfuture updates to iron out the kinks.

With HDR switched off (awaiting Nintendo's patches) and that screen running at full brightness (switch auto-brightness off), this is a real delight. Smoother motion, a bigger panel, and 1080p resolution make for real tangible upgrades over the previous 🔯generation and I'd certainly take them over a higher-contrast OLED experience.

Controls

T⭕he improvements to the Nintendo Switch 2's face buttons and thumbsticks may be slight, but they make a world of difference in everydaꦦy use.

The original Joy-Con thumbsticks were never my favorite, but the Switch 2 iteration is tighter, smoother, and significantly larger. The biggest difference I've felt between the two is right at the edge of that extension. I can feel the original gamepad's individual notches around the outer edge of the stick itself, whereas everything's buttery smooth here. There's an extra layer of cushioned padding in here, which means absolutely no grind around the edge of the stick itself. That said, these aren't the Hall effect sticks used by the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Nintendo Switch controllers on the market,♊ so drift is still a very real possibility.

Up top, the Joy-Con 2 use a larger, thicker rubber thumbstick topper with a wider perimeter that makes for far greater precision. I've been able tꦦo maintain much better control over the stick when fully extended, with better leverage during larger movements as well. The face buttons are also larger and feel deeper in their actuation than the originals.

That🌠's before we even get into the new kid on the block; the mouse sensor.

This is the Switch 2’s big reveal, the added feature that makes the next-generation handheld a true Ninty successor - that is, it does something new and cool that could either define the console as a whole or fade into obscu🎀rit🔯y.

I test the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming mice from all corners of the market every day and, while the skinny Joy-Con side means it’s not going to compete with true competitive rodents, I did have a better time than I thought I would. I was surprised even when 🐷I first tested the mouse sensor in my own home. I'd used it on tables at Nintendo preview events - but that's a very different environment to some late-night Cyberpunk on the couch.

Propping the Switch 2 up on the side and using my leg as a mouse pad, the experience was pretty slick. The sensor maintains tracking across fabric folds in my trousers, and even maneuvers fairly smoothly without its skates (the toppers in the box feature a smoother gliding surface). It's not going to have you trading in an esports gaming mouse any time soon, and I did need to stretch my hand out after s🃏ome more intense aiming moments, but it's certainly workable in everyday play.

I tested it in a reaction-focused minigame housed within Welcome Tour: avoid the spiky balls falling down the screen by gliding your spaceship around with the mouse. Tracking is nippy, acceleration felt well-balanced, and response is consistent. The slimmer form factor of a Joy-Con under your hand doesn’t feel nearly as comfortable as a full mouse during longer play sessions, and the skinnier R button has a particularly short stop that’s a little vulnerable to accidental presses, but the actual sensor part? That’s good to gꦚo.

Close up on mouse sensor of Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con

The role the mouse sensor will play in the Nintendo Switch 2’s success will be determined by its support. If enough games use it for central mec🍒hanics, it’s certainly got the grunt to be an immeasurable asset. If it’s relegated to toggle-able mini-games and the odd shovelware escapade, itꩲ’s an expensive mistake.

Thankfully, it looks like we're pretty safe here so far. Cyberpunk 2077 not only has mouse controls baked in from the start, it also intelligently connects to a separate wireless mouse when a 2.4GHz receiver is plugged in. I tested it with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 DEX and Asus gaming keyboard for a full P💦C-like setup and everything was instantly available.

It's not the best Switch 2 experience, though.

Nintendo Switch connected to mouse and keyboard with dock sitting on desk next to curved Samsung monitor.

While things do vary slightly bꦕy mouse and game, all the wireless pointers I've tested so far carry a little more jitter and a much slower response time than the official Joy-Conꩵ.

That's not to say Nintendo has produced a better mouse than Logitech. Put them side by side on a PC and it would be laughable, but there seems to be some limitations of Ninty's dock or handheld that keep these rodents from performing at their best. My bes🗹t guess is a considerably restricted amount of power / bandwidth running from these USB-A ports compared to a PC, paired with Nintendo's hardware having to do a lot more work to recognize the input than Wi📖ndows would.

I was surprised to find out that both gamepads need to be disconnected from the system for one to work as a pointer, though it makes sense considering actually holdi🌠ng the tablet in one hand and moving a mouse with the other feels pretty unbalanced. While tracking was impressively sharp across my legs, I can't help but feel a more versatile approach would make sense for games where mouse co🦩ntrols are only preferable every so often.

The refinement of the HD Rumble system was actually one of the first things I noticed about the Nintendo Switch 2 when I first held it. Swapping back and forth between the original controllers and the new generation, it’s obvious that some serious wo💛rk has gone into fine-tuning these motors. There’s more nuance to 𝔍these vibrations that feels less bold and more precise. While the original bursts to life with a big loud judder, there’s an air of subtlety here.

Dock

Close up on back panel of Nintendo Switch 2 dock

The dock is a chunkier than that of the Switch and Switch OLED, with a larger curved panel that completely detaches from the main body to allow for wires. That leaves a smaller space fo🧸r the fan than I initially expected. It's also slightly more finnicky than the OLED version I've been using for years. There a🍃re a number of pins to properly align in order to fully close it back up, which is a particularly fiddly process - especially if you're setting up your Switch in a smaller, enclosed space.

The hard, squat corners of the original are long gone now, and while the Switch 2 dock keeps the softer edges of the OLED release, it also extends into a rounded hump at the back as well. This is to house those new fans and adds a considerable amount of heft to the final footprint. It’s not large enough to lose its spot next to most TV setups, but this is a much more substanti🥀al piece of kit overall.

Those extra fans don't add too much extra ♉noise to the experience, though. I never noticed them whirring up during my time playing Cyberpun꧟k 2077 or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, even in a quieter room.

Games

Onto the good stuff, the games. At launch the Nintendo Switch 2 has 24 confirmed titles, though only two are new first-party Nintendo releases built directly for the Switch 2 system; Mario Kart World and Welcome Tour. There’s only one third party exclusive on the docket, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fast Fusion, alongside a host of remasters, ports, and re💟-releases for everything from the Zeldas to Cyberpunk 2077 and Hitman.

Right now, there's aren't many new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 games to experienc🍒e - especially if you don’t like racing. However, there are a few titles in this roster that give us an indication of where Nintendo wants its system to be positioned. Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t have a hope in hell of running on the original handheld, and a♓ few generations ago CD Projekt Red would have had similar chances of publishing it on a Nintendo console.

Nintendo hasn’t been opposed to less-than-family-friendly games being on its systems for some time now, but it’ꦡs taken the Switch 2’s performance upgrades for enthusiasts to truly take note. I’ve had a Switch OLED since it launched, but I’ve also had a PS5 and a gaming laptop. Besides Stardew Valley, Oxenfree, and Dragon Quest titles, I haven’t played anything on the Switch that I can’t play on another platform; it’s more expensive and it doesn’t run as well.

I’m in a lucky position. Most players will pick a device and sti🎀ck with it - this time around, it looks like Nintendo wants to be that platform for enthusiasts as well as families. It’s undeniably impressive that giants like🔥 Cyberpunk 2077 can keep their cool on a device as slimline and portable as the Nintendo Switch 2, especially running in 4K when docked.

﷽If Nintendo can keep up with upcoming blockbuster releases, the Switch 2 could well be in with a shot at becoming a primary driver for a lot more players.

This is just one sub-section of the library, though. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 backwards cﷺompatibility is strong, with a few original Switch games being left off the roster (likely due to Joy-Con limitations🌊). Then there’s the remaster carousel, a ride we’ve all been on for a good few years now. Breath of the Wild and ♍Tears of the Kingdom are the biggest Switch 2 games to receive their upgrade patches on day one, but it’s likely we’ll see more re-releases in the future as well.

UI

Nintendo Switch 2 home screen screenshot

This is ☂pretty much the exact same UI and home screen we've ♋come to recognize on the original console, just with a few additions, tweaks, and primps.

Smaller updateꦚs are noticeab🥀le - game covers feature rounded corners now, with a blue and purple outline highlighting each one, as opposed to the teal color we saw in the previous UI. The home screen also now features dedicated buttons for GameChat and Game Sharing, though the latter is also packaged in with the Switch and Switch OLED thanks to a recent update.

I've also no🐬ticed that individual clicks sound a little deeper and the tone changes when moving between the three horizontal menus now rise in a far more satisfying manner. The Joy-Con mouse function can be used on the home screen as well as the now much-improved eShop as well.

I have found that it takes longer for the Nintendo Switch 2 to wake into its home screen than it did the previous generation. I've found myself repeatedly pressing the A button before the system actually registers it when waking up from slee🐲p mode. I've tried again ꩲon the Switch OLED and the issue doesn't seem to be historical, I can immediately dive into the previous generation while the Switch 2 take a second or so. Hopefully this can be patched out with future updates, though.

Performance

The Nintendo Switch started showing its age long before it was eventually put out to pasture, so it’s the internal performance upgrades that will make or break the Switch 2. With a myster🎃ious new chip and an unknown RAM amount, Ninty has maintained its silence around the actual innards of its new handheld.

The new model holds its own in a more modern world, with enough grunt under the hood to keep larger titlesꦡ like Cyberpunk 2077 and🔯 The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom running smoothly where older systems may falter. I've tested the system with titles old and new and one thing is obvious; we’re miles away from where the Switch dropped us off.

No, you're not getting next-gen graphics as we know them. The PS5 still holds the upper handꦑ against the Nintendo Swit🎃ch when it comes to textures and distance rendering in docked mode, while the Asus ROG Ally has the bandwidth for finer details to shine through a little better.

There's some pop-in, I noticed considerable blurring for a few seconds before new objects and imaಞges could render their focus, and that upscaler has brought its own ghost-lines to the party. However, Cyberpunk 2077 runs remarkably smoothly on a slimline handheld - with commendable ray tracing to boot. We’re not running an RTX 5090 here, I did notice a drop in that responsive high-fps feel around busier events - but it’s nowhere💦 near the jaggedy levels of the previous generation console, I’d still more than happily sail on past without a second thought.

Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2's motion handling performs far better than the Ally's in Cyberpunk 2077. The latter suffers from far more screen tears and framerate drops and it's far more pronoun💯ced when flying through initial Nomad street scenes or driving around Night City proper.

Upgrades to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild reveal an impressive amount of detail in smaller objects and a far more polished experience ovꦬerall. Between sharper character models and clearer rendering in the distance, things are looking pretty sweet in both handheld and docked mode. Nothing's stuttered so far, and those load times have been reduced dramatically.

The most noticeable difference I've seen, though, is the grass. At a lower resolution, the blade൲s under Link's feet feel more like a green blobby mass. Here, I can easily see the ground parting itself beneath our hero's feet, with far greater detail overall. Even smaller particle effects are running better - rain feels more full-bodied and natural than the tiny flecks of white floating across the screen of the original.

Mario Kart World was my first introduction to the Nintendo Switch 2, though, and i൩t’s not the game’s increased 24-racer capabilities, its expansive open free roam mode, or the smooth glide of the action on-screen that impressed me the most, though. The biggest indicator that we’🌞re now playing with a whole load more power came from the water.

There are a number of tracks that have you sloshing through can🅷als and rivers, and a whole ocean can be explored in free roam mode. The way these waves picked up and carried light while maintaining their smooth motion and fluid textures was a real eye-opener during my time with the Switch 2. Yes, splash effects are sparse still, and ray-traced effects aren’t goiꦉng to rival those of high-end PCs, but even the rain looks better, and that’s pretty telling.

Watching it run next to a Nintendo Switch OLED reveals a palpable difference in smoothness and detail - supporters hold actually-waving flaꦗgs in the distance, each corner and turn feels incredibly responsive, and fast-moving onscreen elements (even down to the fire erupting from your exhaust with a boost) are all much clearer.

Side by side with the PS5's 4K performance, it's obvious this isn't a miracle worker. Everything lacks that final touch of sharpness in docked mode compared to the PS5. Faces, textures, and longer-distance details are slightly less detailed. But this isn't the fu𒅌ll story. This is still all very impressive. We're ta𓆏lking about the difference between a slimline handheld that has far more functionality than the PS5 and measures in at a fraction of the size to boot.

I'm still impressed with the overall fidelity on even a mid-range 4K display. Lighting maintains its definition and reflections are well balanced, even if🔯 they can't quite keep up with the nuances of the PS5 or PS5 Pro. Ray tracing is far less sophisticated than you'll find on a PC or PS5, murkier than both and slightly less responsive with distance - but it still looks pretty damn slic🐠k.

There is some bad💎 news for thoꩲse with a hefty Switch 1 library. We're still at 720p handheld mode here.

Most of the games ಌthat ac🎀tually made the most of the Nintendo Switch's 1080p docking capabilities have received patch updates ahead of the Switch 2's release. Many were hopeful that these updates would unlock full 1080p gameplay (previously reserved for docking) in handheld mode.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one such game, but I'm sorry to say it doesn't look like we've got 1080p performance on the device's own screen here. This is a 720p image that, actually, looks a little worse when stretched out across the Nintendo Switch 2's larger FHD panel. Side by side in real life, the Switch OLED's 720p panel keeps things a little crisper whereas 🌳those edges are somewh𒆙at blurred on the new release.

Sound

The Nintendo Switch 2 offers a far more powerful set of speakers t𒁃han its predecessor. I was surprised by the robust texture of this audio, not just in a directionally sensitive setting, but in larger cut-scenes and soundtrack swells as well.

The system's new 3D spatial audio is surprisingly realistic as well. While testing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I physically looked down to my right to investigate a strange clicking noise, only to realize it was an enemy on a slightly lower platform to me in-game. Spinning the camera around a burning lantern reveals just how sophisticated this audio tech is. It's not going to beat one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming headsets for precision, but it's certainly a wortౠhwhile upgrade.

In quieter moments, however, a small whine did creep into that soundscape. I could only hear it late at night when it waཧs quieter, but there was a definite high-pitched ring to the system when I was playing Breath of the Wild NS2 Edition. It's not there during less demanding processes, on the home screen and playing original Nintendo Switch games for example, but it is loud enough to be noticeable when everything else is silent.

Battery

Photo taken by Tabitha Baker showing the battery on the display of the Nintendo Switch 2.

At the system's most demanding, I managed two hours and 40 minutes of battery life. That was a test from 100%, playing Breath of the Wild: NS2 Edition at full display brightness. That's a downgrade from the far more power-efficient OLED and a fairly short battery life even compared to the original device. This is box-fresh as well, so it's likely those numbers will degrade even further with time. While it's certainly lasting a lot longer than more power-hungry device𓂃s like the Asus ROG Ally Nintendo has produced more battery-efficient handhelds in the past.

Interestingl൩y, screen brightness doesn't seem to have that much of an effect on overall battery life. I tested again at 50% brightnessꦚ and only managed an extra nine minutes of juice - it's worth going all in.

Charging times are longer than I've grown used to with fast-charging mobile devices. The top and bottom ports charge at roughly the same speed, though the bottom measured in a little quicker at two hours and nine minutes (compared to two hours twenty minutes). Iওf you're playing demanding games, you're charging for almost as much time as you're pla🙈ying.

Lighter titles fared well. I was able to get just over four hours out of older releases like Doo꧅m and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, but we're still not competing at Switch OLED battery level here.

There's no getting around it though, that charge is di🅰sappointing.

Should you buy the Nintendo Switch 2?

Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch OLED on a wooden desk with blue backlighting

The Nintendo Switch 2🐼 isn't without competition. The cheaper OLED version runs with better battery life and the Asus ROG Ally and Steam Deck OLED offer better grip, a wider choice of games, more storage, and a larger set 🌱of controls.

Ninty's device is threatening these handheld PCs for the first time, though. It's smoother in some scenarios, comes with its own set of exclusive titles, and is far more portable than𝔍 chunkier models. You'll even find a similar battery runtime between them, with Nintendo just pushing out ahead when it comes to b﷽eefier titles.

Ultimately, the decision comes down to what and how you want to play. If you're after one system to give you access to the highest nuꦚmber of games (and you're willing to work to get them running smoothly), a handheld PC is going to be the way to go. If you're after an easier plug-and-play device that can still tak𝔉e on new releases but remove some of that versatility, the Nintendo Switch 2 is your go-to.

Compared to the Nintenꦺdo Switch OLED it's a no-brainer. While you're dropping some punch in that display, and sacrificing your battery, the improved resolution, larger display, and tighter controls are well worth the leap to the new generation.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has a lot to prove. That $449.99 / £395.99 launch rate has come under fire, not as much as its game prices, but enough to shine a spotlight on exactly what the system does differently to its predecessor. It would be🌠 easy to look at the similar form🥃 factor and decry the Switch 2 for playing too close to its established rulebook and yes, this is an evolution rather than a whole new device. It’s a desperately needed iteration, and one that Nintendo has taken its time about delivering, but it's an evolution nonetheless.

That's no bad thing.

The Nintendo Switch may have captured lightning in a bottle, but the Switch 2 is cranking up the generators and puttin🍌g that electricity to work. The potency of new features like GameChat and the mouse sensors depends entirely on games to support thౠem. For now, the hardware’s all there - Nintendo just needs to make sure there’s enough software to give these elements some runway.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> If you're looking for all Mario Kart World outfits and how to unlock them, we've got your back. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World has officially ushered in a new area of Nintendo kart racing, bringing the incredible 11 year run of Mario Kart 8 to a close. It’s been so long since we’ve had a new Mario Kart that you might have forgotten what it’s like to worry about things like “unlockables” and “outfits.” Sure, having a cool new Switch 2 is neat and all, but what will your friends and family say on game nights if you d🎐on’t even have Shy Guy we🃏aring a ski getup unlocked? Who else are they going to play as, Mario!?

Indeed, Mario Kart World comes absolutely packed with characters, and each of them has upwards of 10 different outfits you can choose from once you unlock them♛ all. We’re talking nearly 100 outfits to discover in total! All Mario Kart World outfits

Whether you need to unlock them or not, all the characters listed above sport extra outfits you can find. That said, the distribution of outfits is lopsided. For instance, Mario has a whopping nine additional outfits, whereas Pauline only has one extra to her name. You’ll note that several characters also ♈share the same “category” of outfit, even if their looks aren’t exactly the same (such as Pro Racer or Sightseeing). Below we’ve listed every single outfit you can find, sorted by character.

How to unlock extra outfits in Mario Kart World

Assuming you’re playing as a main character, you can unlock additional outfits by picking up Dash Food as you drive. These are typically served at Yoshi Diners spread all around the map, and you’ll naturally pass by these whether you’re racinꦛg competitively or playing in Free Roam mode. Not only do you have a chance at getting a new outfit for your character, you’ll get a speed boost too!

Which outfit you get will depend on which category of food you pick up from the Dash Food bag. Generally speaking, each Yoshi Diner will only serve one category of food that grants one static set of unlocks, even if the foods don’t look related (such as the coffee and bag of chips). Using the food will immediately activate a transform🐈ation on the applicable character, and you’ll see a window pop up showing the name of the outfit if it’s one you haven’t unlocked yet.

Note t🍒hat some food will change certain characters back to their default outfits. If a Dash Food correlates with an outfit that your character is already wearing, it’ll just trigger a speed boost instead.

How to unlock every outfit in Mario Kart World

Waluigi dabs in Sky-High Sundae in Mario Kart World

The most straightforward path to unlockingꦯ every outfit in Mario Kart World is to do it passively as you play. As long as you spread your playtime across all the above characters, you’ll𓆏 eventually unlock most (if not all) outfits without really trying. This approach will likely take dozens of hours, and you may struggle to find certain outfits that can only be unlocked when characters eat one specific category of Dash Food. That said, this feels like the game’s “intended” unlock method, especially if you enjoy multiplayer Mario Kart via local splitscreen.

If you do take this approach, just remember that Dash Food counts as an item, so you♓’ll need an empty item slot to pick it up. Also, getting hit w﷽hile eating can cancel your entire transformation, so be careful when you activate it.

The most d💫irect way to unlock outfits is to enter Free Roam mode and hunt down each category of food yourself. Any Yoshi Diner you find will serve the same kind of food endlessly, and you can switch characters from the start menu and respawn in the exact same location to chain multiple unlocks togeth൩er. For best results, just dash directly into the diner or a wall so you won’t waste time driving back and forth after the speed boost wears off. Repeat until you’ve unlocked every outfit you need from one location.

If you’re looking for hubs where you can find lots of different kinds of food at once, consider starting Free Roam in Shy Guy Bazaar. Drive forward as you naturally would during a race, and you’ll soon find yourself in the middle of a large market where several different kinds of Dash Food are served. You’ll also find several valuable Dash Food varieties by starting in Peach Stadium. Just drive straight forward until you see four vendors al♍l arranged in a circle.

That said, to fill out your collection and snipe those hard-to-find unlocks, you’ll find detailed instructions on the location of every kind of Dash Food and the outfits they unlock below. All directions are based upon where you’ll spawn when selecting each course in Free Roam mode. If you’re already in Free Roam mode, you can 🍰bring up your map to change locations by pressing the Y button.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 has a list of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:free updates for a ton of original Nintendo Switch games. However, players have found out some games that weren't on that list are also running better on Switch 2 (like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) while others are having some unintended issues (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:also like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).

Despite being 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Shigeru Miyamoto's favourite child, Pikmin, is completely abꦓsent from the Switch 2 upgrade list. The Switch ports of the first three games and Pikmin 4 are backwards compatible but didn't get patched in order to take advantage of the Switch 2's features, which is frankly criminal considering how much of a slam dunk mouse controls for Pikmin would be. In fact, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is actually "with issues that have been resolved, or are planned to be resolved, by an update" by Nintendo, and fans have quickly discovered why.

In a video p🐎osted by , the user shows off the litany of issues with Pikmin 3 Deluxe. Most notably, the game has strange visual glitching and screen flickering that appears constantly.

Before the Switch 2 launched the game was patched with a note saying it "partially alleviated an issue🔯 that occurs when playing on Nintendo Switch 2 where the entire screen flickers 🌼during some scenes in the game, such as when a day starts and ends."

However the issues are still extremely prevalent in the game at the moment, even outside of those two scenes mentioned. Nintendo did previously 🐓say it "will be releasing an update in the near future to fix this comple𒁃tely" however.

But that's not t🦩he full extent of Pikmin 3's problems on Switch 2. In the video, imonlyhereforpikmin reports they experienced input lag on the game's menus, stuttering during gameplay, hard crashes, and an ominous red glow staying on the screen. Similar complaints have been echoed across social media, with and . The crashing in particular, imonlyhereforpikmin adds, makes the game "borderline broken."

Nintendo hasn't mentioned any of these issues, but hopefu🍌lly they will be targete🗹d in the next patch too (and throw in 4K and mouse controls while it's at it, please).

Mario Kart World players have found the optimal way to unlock every vehicle, and it involves driving slowly behind a pedestrian car for 25 minutes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Believe me when I say I've been making Switch 2 summer plans since📖 its announcement. Yes, 🌊I'm that kind of loser, but upon getting my grubby paws on the handheld, I discovered that it doesn't work with any third-party docking stations or portable monitors with USB-C input.

Simply put, if you want to hook up the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 to screens away from home, you'll need to bring the official docking station with you. So far, I've tested the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:gaming handheld with every third-party dock I own, a bunch of USB-C adapters, and a few 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:portable monitors wꦚith DisplayPort Alt support, and the console refuses to outpuꦇt anything.

Yes, I know that many of the docking stations I've tested, like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baseus 6-in-1 and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:BenQ GR10, are advertised as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Deck docks. I could make peace with their irritating incompatibility if 𓆏they used a different protocol or output standards, but this is seemingly less about cross compatibility and more an issue with the handheld virtually refusing to work with anything but the included cradle.

Nintendo Switch 2 connected to docking station on black TV unit.

I'm still actively looking into the situation, but there are a few things I've noticed when testing third-party docks with the Switch 2. Firs🌜t off, my monitors and capture devices see🔯m to recognize that the handheld is connected, which should, in turn, result in a signal successfully coming through. However, Ninty's console seemingly refuses to then actually play ball, suggesting that software is potentially blocking output from happening.

The second curiosity is that docking stations will charge the Switch 2 when connected, indicating that the Power Delivery elements are working fine. Whether that'll be the case across the board depends on your specific device, and so far it seems like it's falꦜling back to 15V rather than using the full 20V.

That begs the question: Will the Switch 2 gain third-party docking station support? I've already spoken to a few accessory makers, like Jsaux, who have brand new docks iꩲn the works, and BenQ was actively looking into wheth♒er custom GR10 firmware tweaks would be required before the handheld's arrival.

BenQ Steam Deck dock with cradle flipped down

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

My main issue with the situation is that Nꩵintendo has chosen to use a docking station format that implies wide compatibility, but has ended up heavily restricting output capabilities. Whether this is via an intentional additional handshake designed to protect the console from being connected to docks without a fan or an accidental blocker caused by software, remains to be seen.

But, there's still every chance that third-party accessory makers will bridge Switch 2 dock compatibility via a firmware update, which in turn should save you buying new, potentially bulky accessories. I'm personally hoping that including the fan isn't mandatory, as that will mean having to carry around a chonkier accessory 💧and zero chance of hooking up to screens via a single cable.

Nintendo, hear my cry, all I want is to siꦡt in the garden on a summer night with soꦫme pals, enjoy a couple of cold ones, and cry with rage when I'm knocked out of a Mario Kart World race. Is that too much to ask?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Fortnite just received a massive update for Nintendo Switch 2, boosting the visuals and draw distances, while kicking up the performance to a steady 60FPS. It’s a vastly different experience when compared to the Switch’s often uneven offering, with a bunch of enhancements that help make 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite feel like a completely different game on the new hardware. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 boasts a feature that’s not available on other consoles too, the mouse and Joy-Cඣon control scheme that’s quickly become my absolute favorite way to play.

Epic Games has tra🐲nsformed the experience of Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 by bringing it up to relative parity to PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. It’s brilliant in handheld mode, with a great balance of visual fidelity, and quality of life fixes like the increased draw distances. Opponents are easy to spot, and water effecꦗts are particularly gorgeous thanks to higher quality rendering.

But it’s the mouse mode that’s been the biggest 𝓡revelation for me, finally giving me a way to experience the precision of mouse aiming, while offering me the option to use a Joy-con as a movement controller. As someone who never quite gelled with the keyboard part of moꦰuse and keyboard setups, this new way to play feels like the perfect configuration, and has given me one heck of an edge over the competition in Battle Royale mode.

If you're on the fence, check out our live 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 r🌺eview in progress

To be blunt, the Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite was never a viable version for me to play. Muddy visuals paired with imprecise controls and a framerate locked at 30FPS amounted to a vastly inferior experience when compared with PS5 (my main platform), ultimately meaning that I rarely bothered to load up new seasonal updates. Nintendo Switch 2’s update is completely transformative, and it’s in han🎶dheld play where this is mostly felt. Now, the Switch 2 is a go-to portable💞 version of the game, allowing me to chip away at quests, learn the ins and outs of Fortnite OG, and even spend hours mining away in the still-excellent Lego Fortnite Odyssey mode.

Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 feels fresh from the outset. There’s a depth and detail to the Battle Royale map that allows for vibrant and colorful map locations like farmland surrounding Kappa Kappa Factory to shine. With Fortnite Super now here, the metallic sheen of Uto𒁃pia City and the b🗹right oranges of Supernova Academy’s gymnasium building stand out against lush green grasslands and imposing mountains. Most importantly, long-range battles are viable, as players appear clearly as they traverse distant hilltops.

Mouse mode is an unexpected delight

A screenshot of Fortnite on the Switch 2 showing newly-added mouse control settings

An update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 arrived alongside the latest season, adding in mouse controls. I’ve dabbled with mouse and keyboard in the past, impressed by the extra level of precision aiming while being simultaneously held back by the stiffness of WASD movement. Enabling mouse controls turns one Joy-Con on its side, and by attaching the wrist strap attachment that comes with the Switch 2, you’re able to use it like a mouse. The real highlight is what happens in your other hand. The other Joy-Con operates much like one half of a controller, handling movement and aiming down sights. It’s a winning combination that really gives the Switch 2 version a unique selling point. There’s a huge advantage in using the m🎐ouse to swing you♋r camera around, and extra control is given during long-range shootouts.

Of course, the Nintendo Switch 2’s mouse function doesn’t quite compare to a proper gaming mouse, and I certainly spent quite some time in menus dialling in the sensitivity of the scope and targeting. After a while though, it all clicks, especially after remapping some of the buttons on your mouse controller for easy sliding and jumping. You can of course plug a mouse into your PS5 or Xbox, or use all 🌸manner of configurations on PC, but there’s something about the Switch 2’s Joy-Con and mouse setup that feels right.

There is a problem with using your Switch 2’s controllers this way, however. It comes down to 𒈔a grip I have with the Switch 2’s position as a console, in that you’ll need to be sat at a desk to make the best use of the mouse mode. Currently, I have an awkward setup involving a laptop𓃲 hard case balanced on top of a small wooden footstool so I can play on my sofa. I have no doubt there will be some third-party solution to this in the future, perhaps even a sort of Labo cardboard box offering from Nintendo. Still, you can just about make it work, and I have to say I’m impressed by how viable the mouse mode is for Fortnite’s Battle Royale and OG modes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Nintendo has announced Splatoon Raiders – the series' first spin-off game and a Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 exclusive.

For those of you who actually check the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Today app for your daily Pikmin comic or piece of old Mario concept art to pop up will be surprised to see that Nintendo has actually used the app for its intended use by randomly announcing a brand new Splatoon game exclusively for Ninten🗹do Switch 2, titled Splatoon Raiders. Nintendo has also posted the video on YouTube for those without the app to enjoy.

We got a tiny trailer showing the storyline, which involves your player-made Inkling mechanic as you go on an adventure on the "Spiralite Islands" alongside the Splatoon 3 hosts Deep Cut (including the legend, Big Man). We only got a very brief glimpse of gameplay, but it almost looks like a survival and ba⛦se-building game set on a deserted island.

Nintendo didn't give a release date or even a release window, but we'll presumably find out more about it in the next Nint♐endo Direct. Considering a Direct event has happened in June almost every year since 2012, I'd🦩 say that's probably pretty soon.

Nintendo also confirmed Splatoon 3 update V.10.0.0 is coming on June 12. This update introduces 30 new weapon kits in the Splatlands collection, which won't introduce any new weapons but remixed versions of previous ones, including ones that hold different subweapons. The max Freshness caꦇp for each weapon has been raised too. Not only that, but the fan-favorite Urchin Underpass stage from the original Splatoon is returning with the new update.

But perhaps more importantly, Splatoon 3 update V.10.0.0 introduces performance and visual improvements for the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo reaffirms that despite these upgrades, Nintendo Switch players will still be able to battle Switch 2 players without any issue (presumably that bug that gives Switch 2 players an advantage is gone too, in that case).

Mario Kart World players have found the optimal way to unlock every vehicle, and it involves driving slowly behind a pedestrian car for 25 minutes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World ditched a good few things from Mario Kart 8, notably the anti-gravity, which has been replaced with some truly wild 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:wallriding and jumping tech. However, one thing the Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 racer💞 did keep from its predecessor was how new karts were unlocked, courtesy o𝕴f the in-game coins, but that's not fast enough for some.

As such, Mario Kart fans have figured out that to unlock new Mario Kart World karts and bikes, you'll need to grab 100 coins e✤ach time, with the final unlock coming once you've hit 3,000. You'll naturally get to this point by just playing the game, but for those who want to get everything right away, you'll need to take on a different approach.

One has found what they believe to be the optimal way to earn 🐓coins in the game, which, funnily enough, is to drive in a straight line. Throughout the Mario Kart world, some cars will throw out items on occasion, such as mushrooms and bananas, and there's one that just so happens to throw out coins by Mario Bros. Circuit in the open world.

By following this car chucking out coins for a while ( it would take 25 minutes to get to 3,000 from having no coins), you'll be able to get all the coins you need with relat𒀰ively little effort. Granted, it's not a particularly enjoyable way to do it, but if you want everything with minimal effort, it's quite optimal. Although it'd probably be more interesting to travel around the open world where you can find massive stacks of coins sprinkled around, there's also the Coin Runners battle mode, which – as you may have guessed from the name – has you grabbing a ton of coins.

Mario Kart World has Mirror Mode after all, and you can even explore it in Free Roam thanks to this Super Mario 64 Easter egg.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Survival Kids is a survival game for people who don't lik🍬e survival games, and I absolutely mean that as a compliment. It is, as you may have 🐎guessed from the name and the art style, primarily aimed at players on the younger end of the gaming spectrum and their families. It's equally clear that this is a game designed with co-op play in mind. That said, I'm a man in his 40s who mostly played Survival Kids solo, and I had a pleasant – if not exactly adrenaline-pumping – time with it.

Levels are presented as a series of islands, which you keep rather clumsily crashing your raft into. The fundamental objective on each is to reach the top of the island, where your ruined raft is consistently waiting for you to gather the required parts and materials to repair it. Along the way you'll have climbing nets to build, bridges to construct, food to cook, tools to make and use, and shenanigans to 𒆙engage in.

Release date: June 5, 2025
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch 2
Developer: Unity Technologies

The survival aspect very much leans on construction rather than death. The Kids, like the Highlander, are immortal. Unlike the Highlander, there can be more than one, with two player split-screen, three player Game Share, or four players online (private code-based lobbies only). Two or more players working together can carry heavy objects more quickly, harvest materials faster, and there are occasional opportunities to engag🎉e in two tasks at once on different parts of the island. A solo player can easily play the entire game from start to finish, but some tasks will take a little longer.

The recipe for anything you need to build hovers over the place it'll appear, showing how many planks, vines, etc are still requireℱd. This makes it easy to identify and bring the materials over, but it doesn't mean that things are patronizingly simple. It's only a few islands in that you'll start to find transporting those materials isn't always straightforward; you can't climb while carrying anything for example, and a few construction spots you can't reach at all. You're encouraged to get creative. Sometimes you can hurl the ingredients in from a slight distance, other times you'll find that fishing rod you made is useful f𝓀or hooking more than just fish…

There's no hunger meter, but you'll still need to cook and eat food to build up your stamina, the maximum for which is slowly reduced over 𓄧time. This determines how long you can keep your grip on a climbing net, how long you can carry something before slowing down (though stamina recharges with pleasing speed), and whether or not 🐽you can unearth something buried in the ground. I'm fine with this. It's an infinitely preferable system to a traditional one that sees you dying of starvation because you went five minutes without a sandwich.

Star power

Building a bridge in co-op in Survival Kids

As you progress, action platformer elements are ꦫgently introduced. There are simple puzzles, "ancient turrets" that spit mysterious purple goo to be avoided, and it's not too long before an umbrella that allows you to glide short distances and ride updrafts makes an appearance. It all melts together well, and prevents things from becoming repetitive. The turrets produce a few sections that make me grit my teeth and/or say very naughty words, but these parts are very much the exception rather than the rule.

I played the penultimate island solo, and found some of the backtracking and dragging of objects to be a bit of a slog. I also wasn't particularly happy to find that the final island requires a min✱imum number of stars to unlock, and I was a little short. You need 25 of the 48 (up until that point) available.

That meant I only needed to revisit a few islands, but I kind of resented not being given any warning beforehand. Each island can award up to six stars✱. There are a maximum of three based on completion time, and another three for each of the hidden 'treasure stones' you find and drag back to camp. Getting all six in one run is incredibly unlikely, both in solo and co-op. I give this gift to you: be aware those stars aren't just there to encourage replays.

You're not patronized with instant solutions and unrelenting hand-holding, but there'𝓡s plenty of guidance.

Still, that final island? It was worth it. Without spoiling too m𓃲uch, I was pleasantly surprised at the ambition on display, ambition that – to be honest – the rest of the game could do with a taste of. It also serves as a reminder of the pros and cons of solo and co-op play.

One of my favorite things about playing alone is that I can pretend t𓃲he unnervingly positive narrator with a sharp edge of optimism in his voice is an invention of my character's overly stressed mind, an indication that they're close to breaking point after finding themselves marooned on an island with sentient turrets. Another positive is that I can hoard all the food I cook for myself, making keeping stamina high pretty easy. Conversely, when playing with one or more other people, resource harvesting can be super fast, but splitting the food to keep everybody's stamina up can be a new challenge.

You're not patronized with instant solutions and unrelenting hand-holding, but there's plenty of guidance, such as an on-screen arrow pointing to objectives (and the occasional hint delivered via a bad pun). The experience is usually pretty smooth as a result, but that also means challenge is kept🐎 to a minimum. It's an experience with very few highs, but also almost no lows, and as such is perfect for playing with a young relative – or, if you prefer, to play as a relaxing low-stakes adventure by yourself.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World does feature series staple Mirror Mode races after all, and although the requi๊rements to unlock it remain slightly hazy, anyone who does will also be able to explore it in theඣ new Free Roam mode thanks to a Super Mario 64 Easter egg.

Before launch, it wasn't clear if 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 racing game Mario Kart World would include Mir🐷ror Mode at all. After all, the main idea of the latest racing game is how the whole world is interconnected, with different tracks leading to the next, thanks to intermission laps. How would Mirror Mode even wo🍰rk in that context? Well, it appears Nintendo has some kind of parallel dimension explanation for us.

As spotteܫd by Twitterer @Ninjinaut, after you've unlocked Mirror Mode, if you head over to the Peach Stadium course in Free Roam, and make your way up to the stained gla꧂ss windows featuring the princess herself, you'll be able to drive straight through them to be transported into a mirrored version of the world.

Anyone wh꧙o's played Super Mario 64 will recognise that the stained glass design is pretty much identical to a window found in the classic 1996 3D platformer, which you could jump through to access a seꦕcret level. The windows might not lead to a slide this time, but it's still an obvious nod.

But how do you unlock Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World in the first place? While there's still some debate over the exact requirements, we've got a full guide on the steps that should definitely work. As well as completing all the Grand Prix cups and Knockout T💝ours at 150cc, you'll also need to spend some time in Free Roam collecting Peach Medallions, ?🌄 Panels, and completing P-Switch challenges.

We believe you need to do about 10 of eachꦅ of those Free Roam bits, but it might be a bit less. After that, you'll nee🍸d to play the Special Cup again to unlock the mode. Happy hunting!

Mario Kart World is "completely broken," speedrun legend declares as players demolish the racing game's time trials with its wild new movement mechanics.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Undertale successor Deltarune 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:has been popping off, especially as one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch games. A massive inf𒁏lux of players meant more people to discover bugs, so the developers of the game have already released multiple hotfixes on PC, w🐭ith patches for consoles coming soon.

In a the Undertale account posted the details of a hotfix for the game, which include a number of freezing and crashing issues, described in the least-spoilery ways possible like, "fixed a common crash in a r♏oom with a lot of screens."

The patch also introduced a failsafe for when players play the rhythm game sections without having audio input (not sure why you'd do that, but ♏you do you I guess).

And, unfortunately, part of one hotfix noted that the patch "fixed a part where you can erroneously enter an empty room." As someone who loves erroneously ൩entering an empty room, I'm gutted the de🐈vs would take this away from us.

🌜Since then, the team has released but for the game over the weekend, with even more crashing and freezing issues targeted.

There's another notable part in the latest one that reads: "strengthened imagery while maintaining a scen🦩e's intended meaning." This is in reference to a⭕ scene in Chapter 4, where players had misinterpreted the meaning of a cut-to-black during the game's Snowgrave route.

In each of the patch notes posts, it's mentioned that these fixes will be coming to console versions as soon as possible, but d💃ue to the time it takes to get patches approved on console, the team is opting to get as many fixes into one patch as possible.

Oh, and there have also been reports that the game , which prohibits the improper use of a red cross on a white background. This isn't the first time a game has done this, either, with and copping to the same thing in previous updates, amo♒ng others.

After breaking Steam, Deltarune dev Toby Fox appears to aim to break the internet: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure to load up your save file one more time afterwards."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> As澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 wraps up, fans of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bethesda Game Studios are lamenting what never came during yesterday's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Xbox Games Showcase – news regarding 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Elder Scrolls 6.

A solid seven years have now passed since The Elder Scrolls 6 debuted with its short teaser trailer at E3 in 2018. Since then, little news about the upcoming RPG has surfaced – and no, passing references like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:post-Oblivion Re🅷mastered mention from Todd Howard and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:NPC auction that raised $85,000 don't count. It comes as no surprise, then, that we fans were expecting (or coping, really) to see the seemiཧngly forsaken ti🌠tle at Summer Game Fest.

Did we, though? Nope! Another year, anot🎀her miss for Elder Scrolls fans – and we're making our voices heard online, it seems.

"13 years, seven months, and 27 days I've waited," writes🦹 a fellow disappointed player on , who seems to be off by a month in their calculations, but it's been so long𝕴, who can blame them at this point?

"I was in elementary school when Skyrim came out, and my friend and I made a joke that we'd be adults when ES🐽6 came out," comments another. "Wrapping up college now, maybe Todd [Howard] will pull through."

Elsewhere, another post on sees a fan speculating about the possibility of a 2026-2028 release. "It still stings a🐲 bit that we didn't get anything about the game," they explain. "I can understand us not getting a trailer, but I would have liked a sit-down interview with either Todd or Pete." A separate features even more up𒊎set voices, with players expressing how they're losing hope: "I am usually an optimist, but I feel like giving up."

There are countless replies echoing the same sentiment, and as a massive Elder Scrolls stan myself, I can't help but agree with them. Sure, we recently got 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Th🐎🌼e Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but when will we get something new? There are only so many Skyrim re-runs I can personally stomach, and only so many platforms to re-release older entries from the RPG series on – please hear (and answer) our pleas, God Howard.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> It turns out that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 could have ended quite differently, as one scrapped🌳 c♛onclusion planned to see Geralt set off on a "suicide mission" which was "kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2."

This was revealed by lead writer Marcin Blacha in a recent , who mentions that some of the "biggest changes" made to the game between its development and the final version were related to the titular Wil🅺d Hunt. Geralt was once planned to be "kind of like an insider," and "doing stuff pretending to b𝄹e one of them."

The scrapped ending sounds particularly interesting, with Blacha upfront in saying that "Mass Effect 2 was a huge inspiration for the game." He continues: "Initially, we had an ending that was kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2… that moment when Gera♓lt gathers a party and goes on a suicide mission.

"It was on a Skellige drakkar youꩵ were sailing into a frozen sea, and you were suppo📖sed to fight the Wild Hunt on this drakkar."

In the end, CD Projekt Red "redesigned" the🙈 ending "a little bit," having instead "decided to make this more personal ending." Clearly, the idea wasn't scrapped in its entirety, with the whole boat on an icy sea setting carrying forth to the actual ending, when Geralt takes on the King of the Wild Hunt.

No game is without its scrapped ideas, and it makes you wonder in this case how many bits of content that got edited out of The Witcher 3 could make an appearance in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4. A recent Witcher 4 tech demo revealed that Manticores feature in the upcoming RPG, over 10 years since they were apparently cut from the last game, so that's just one exaཧmple.

The Witcher 4 devs are inspired by RPGs like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3, but "definitely are not going to make a game like Larian did."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> No matter what you think about Mario Kart World as a whole, it’s safe to say 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2’s big launch title is anything but thin. On top of unlockables like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:characters, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:outfits, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:karts, there’s one big playable sur🌞prise that’s worth the extra grind: an all-new version of Mirror Mode.

Mario Kart World Mirror Mode takes a while to unlock, and we’ve had to compare our findings to the community’s and double-check some steps, so shoutout to everyone who’s been chipping away at Nintendo Switch 2’s big first-party launch game over the first weekend. Thankfully, we now have a list of tasks every player needs to complete to be able to access it:

 • Completing every Grand Prix at 150cc (no need to be top 3)
 • Completing every Knockout Tour at 150cc (placing near the top is enough)
 • Finding P-Switches in Free Roam; 10 apparently do the trick
 • Finding 10 ? Panels in Free Roam
 • Finding 10 Peach Medallions in Free Roam

While following these steps works, some players are rep💜orting the requirements might be lower, but we haven’t been able to confirm that, as we’ve just gone all-out with the overall completion.

The Special Cup in Mario Kart World

The screenshot above shows how our Grand Prix screen looked like before unlocking Mirror Mode. It must be noted the Special Cup, which features the fan-favorite course Rainbow Road, only unlocks after clearing all the previous seven cups. After you’ve completed all the objectives, replay the Special Cup and you’ll get a notification after the credits telling you Mirror Mode is unlocked.

In Mirror Mode, everything is flipped, which means you’ll have to re-learn every course and most of them will feel fresh once again. You can select this mode when setting up a Grand Prix, Knockout Tour, or race.

But that’s not everything! You can also enter Mirror Mode in Free Roam if you fast-travel to Peach Stadium, drive up🐼 the course until you see the warp pipe, drop down to her castle’s roof, and enter the stained glass that depicts Peach herself.

Have fun!

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The Razer Barracuda X Chroma and its handy Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless support make it a multi-platform gamer's dream. Everything from the Steam Deck to the PS5 is compatible with Razer's RGB-riddled headset and sounds sublime through its 40mm TriForce audio drivers. And now, I can confirm through my own personal testing, so does the Nintendo Switch 2.

Not only that, but the Razer Barracuda X Chroma is down to its lowest ever price of right now. A small saving of $20 off of its $129.99 MSRP may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but this wireless pair of cups is an upgraded version of one of the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: best Nintendo Switch headsets, so a💖ny time this mid-range master drops closer to the $100 mark is worth making a fuss a🧸bout.

Razer Barracuda X Chroma |Save $20 - A current saving of $20 isn't jaw-dropping, but it does mean that the Razer Barracuda X Chroma headset has returned to its lowest ever price. At 15% off, this mid-range wireless headset is more aligned with the best budget headset prices, making it an ideal pick for those who want a flashy pair of cups for their new Switch 2 without the flashy cost.

Buy it if:

✅ You need to have RGB lighting
✅ You want Bluetooth & 2.4GHz connectivity
✅ A detachable mic is a must

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want a lighter headset
❌ You want an official Nintendo product

UK:

Price check:

It's not only its current low deal price that makes the X Chroma worthwhile. Many of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming headsets I've managed to test with the Nintendo Switch 2 have sounded fairly quiet, even at full volume. However, whether it🦋 was through Bluetooth or its 2.4GHz dongle, the X C🐟hroma sounded loud and clear - making it one of the best third-party headsets I've tested for the handheld so far.

Should you buy the Razer Barracuda X Chroma for the Nintendo Switch 2?

Having one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best wireless headsets in your new Ninty gaming setup means not only will you be able to hear the nuances of Nintendo OSTs, but ღalso make use of new features, including spatial audio support, and the ability to chatting away to friends via the new GameChat feature.

The original Switch didn't have Bluetooth audio support a launch, so your options were a bit more limited. The Nintendo Switch 2 not only has Bluetooth audio support from the get-go, but an extra USB-C p🌳ort that's perfect for 2.4GHz wireless dongles too.

Whether or 🔯not you should buy the Razer Barracuda X Chroma in particular depends on how you plan to use your new shiny handheld.

If portability is still of the utmost priority for you, then a headset mak💃es complete sense. There's no ANC to be found here, but the iconic 40mm Razer TriForce audio drivers still managed to keep me immersed while free-roaming as Princess Peach and completing P-Switch missions in the new kart racer.

In my 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Razer Barracuda X Chroma review, I noted that its battery manages to hold on strong, with up to 70 hours of playback - exactly the kind of support you want alongside a portable gaming device. I rarely, if ev𓂃er, had to worry about the X Chroma running out of🔯 juice, which is an extra relief given the Switch 2's own battery isn't particularly long-lasting.

If you rarely use handheld ꦗmode on the original Switch and don't plan to change for the Switch 2, the X Chroma may not be for you. I always recommend using a headset even if you're Ninty tech is set up in your living room, as it will give you the most immersive experience possible. But even that $110 price could be a lot to ask for if you have no plan to ever take ⭕your Switch 2 out and about.

The previous Raz🥃er Barracuda X headset is still one of the best sets of cups for the system, thanks to its great sound, robust build quality, and connectivity options and this X Chroma counterpart is just as special. Sure, it does swap the wired connectivity for some flashy RGB lighting, but if you prefer a wireless and more portable alternative anyway, the X Chroma is an ideal fit for your new Switch 2.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Mario Kart World looks simple at first glance, but it holds many secrets and a handful of useful mechanics that you won’t pick up right away. Since the game does a poor job of teaching players how to make the most of the new additions as they play, we’ve spent some time answering questions such as how to rew🍬ind in Mario Kart World and when it’s a good idea to do it.

You can rewind by pressing (down) on the direction pad to recover the last five seconds or so. Since this is a very short amount of time, you won’t be able to redo massive screw-ups, but it’s useful to get another chance at taking one shortcut or giving a difficult jump another go... as long as you hit rewind fast enough. Much like using the Dagger of Time in the early 2000s 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Prince of Persia trilogy, the rewind feature won’t fix all your problems as sometimes you’ll need more time, but it’s a nice crutch for casual players that don’t take races super seriously. There are some big caveats though:

 • Unlike in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Forza Horizon, computer-controlled characters won’t rewind.
 • The timer in Free Roam challenges and Time Trials (or other timed activities) isn’t affected either. You’re effectively losing time when you rewind.
 • You can’t use rewind in multiplayer modes.

So, when should rewind be used if there are so many negatives to its use? Well, we’ve found it to be quite useful to learn tricky courses such as those in the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Special Cup or to reach difficulඣt spots in the ☂Free Roam mode. Just don’t expect it to be a shortcut to win races easily.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The Mario Kart World Kamek item is a brand new power-up for the Switch 2 game. You may well know the word Kamek as they're a pretty key character in Super Mario game🀅s over the years. They're an old yet powerful Magikoopa, an adviser to Bowser (even if he doesn't always take their advice) and a high-ranking member of Bowser's army.

In Mario Kart World though, they've been turned into an item you can use in races to turn your rivaꦛls into a variety of Super Mario enemies and NPCs, and scatter that same enemy across the track as aggressive obstacles.

Here's💯 how to get the Mario Kart World 🌠Kamek item and all the unlocks you can get with it.

How to get the Kamek item in Mario Kart World

Getting the Kamek item in Mario Kart World

Don't let the above screenshot deceive you, getting the Mario Kart World Kamek item is so rare I've not actually gotten it yet - despite my many many hours in the game so far.

The Mario Kart World Kamek item is a random drop from ? Mark Blocks in races, but it's so rare that you can go through multiple Grand Prix or Knockout Tours and not see o🐈ne feature at all.

From everything we've heard, it can drop for anyone from 24th up to 3rd, but 2nd/1st place won't get thᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe drop.

Despi⛎te its rarity, it's a very valuable item to both get in the race, and be hit by.

Watching Kamek fly past in Mario Kart World

You can just see Kamek flying past to🍰p left and me not ge𓂃tting hit by it (Image credit: Nintendo)

What happens is whenꦜ someone uses Kamek, Kamek themselves will fly ahead and turn anyone in front of you into an enemy or NPC ra꧅cer. They'll also drop the same character all over the track as attacking obstacles.

Being hit by Kamek and transforming is the only way to unlock these characters to race as in Mario Kart World. However, it's worth noting that you're not guaranteed to be hit by Kamek if you're in front of the person who usܫed it, so it's a very frustrating system all round.

All the Mario Kart World Kamek unlocks

There are 11 characters that the Mario Kart World Kamek unlocks. You can read more about how to unlock Mari🐼o Kart World characters over in our complete guide, but these are the 11 character you can unlock by being hit by Kamek's spell:

 • Cataquack
 • Chargin’ Chuck
 • Coin Coffer
 • Conkodor
 • Dolphin
 • Fish Bone
 • Peepa
 • Pianta
 • Rocky Wrench
 • Spike
 • Swoop

As far as we can tell, the character you turn into is💞 completely random. It's not seemingly linked to the track you're racing 𒐪or which character used the item for example.

We'll update this guide if we get any more information or confirmation, but for now, this is one of the rarest and most useful of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World items in game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World hasn't even been out a week and already players are discovering th🌞e game's new mechanics are kind of wild, with speedrun historian Summoning Salt dubbing the game "completely broken."

Mario Kart World may have ditched the antigravity sections found in its predecessor, but somehow players seem to be pulling off gravity-defying tricks even more this time around. The Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 racer introduced a host of new mechanics including a charged jump, rail grinding, and wall riding, almost like a racing𒊎 version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater༒.

Wall ridin🌳g in particular seems wild as you can use a tiny element of the map l꧑ike a signpost to boost yourself off of in mid-air, allowing for massive gaps to be skipped.

The wall riding chaos is seen in full force in a by user APXMK, as they absolute🔯ly demolish th♔e back-half of Great ? Block Ruins, barely touching the actual track as they do it, and as the replies point out, it looks more like Trackmania than Mario Kart. The final time comes in at just over 15 seconds ahead of the in-game staff ghost time for the course.

This clip caught traction and eventually was spotted by speedrun connoisseur Summoning Salt, who is best known for making feature-length documentaries about the history of popula𝐆r speedrunning games and categories on Youtube. Summoning Salt shares the video, saying "three days in and this game is already completely broken."

Of course, this is just the beginning – with Mario Kart World's ne🍸w mechanics it's a matter of time before players figure out the ins and outs and optimal routes for every stage, and we somehow end꧋ up with even more wild times and runs appearing.

Step aside, Super Horn: Mario Kart World's "exploitable" new Rewind feature is the best way to dodge blue shells in single-player or bring the CPU racers down with you.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 is now finally out for all to enjoy, but if you're finally looking to pick one up, it's not that simple. Now that it's approaching one week since launch, it's starting to get incredibly difficult to see a Switch 2 in the wild - even after Ninty promised there sไhould be plenty to go around, and has more recently stated that demand will be met quickly this year. Despite that, there's stil📖l a sea of 'out of stock' signs across retailers in both the US and the UK.

The influx of launch-day stock made us hopeful that getting your hands on a Switch 2 would always be that easy, but it looks like things have died down again. It's not all doom and gloom, as you can find yourself Nintendo's latest handheld, you ꦺjust need to know where to look. In the US, retailer Antonline was selling bundles yesterday that included a considerable amount of extra games and accessories, but they've since sold out, leaving it all quiet on the US Switch 2 front. Meanwhile, EE Mobile Month𒊎ly members in the UK can still add a console to their contract price.

I've been tracking Nintendo Switch 2 stock since pre-orders were first announced, and I've been covering high-profile releases for five years before that. From tracking PS5s and Xbox Series Xs to more recent limited edition hardware reveals, I🥃've learned how these retailers work, when to expect more stock, and how to make the most of new drops when they land.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 in the US

✅ Antonline |
The Nintendo Switch 2 is in stock at Antonline, with bundles packaging in additional games and accessories (as well as their price tags). This is the only stock I'm seeing in the US right now, but you're buying a lot more at the same time as your handheld.

Target |
Target's latest Nintendo Swi⛦tch restock was pretty solid,ꦅ but it's been quiet ever since.

Walmart |
Walmart was quick off the mark with launch day Nintendo Switch 2 restocks, but has stayed qui👍et all weekend.

GameStop |
GameStop is telling customers to check with their local stores for in-person restocks, so it looks like this on🐽e's going to be offline for ꦍa little while.

Best Buy |
Best Buy is also now stating that you can only buy the Nintendo Switc𝓡h 2 from its physical stores.

Nintendo Store |
Nintendo hasn't dropped too much🐎 of its own stock since launch da🥃y, though is one to watch when that second wave of units hit the shelves.

Amazon |
Amazon has largely sat this one out. The retailer hasn't stocked anything direct from Nintendo for a long time now and didn't even have preꦉ-orders on the shelves.

Newegg |
Newegg's Nintendo Switch 2 listing pages have come to life, but they're all third party marketplace ꧃sellers. Prices are astronomical here - I'd recommend av🐽oiding until we drop back down the MSRP.

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK

✅ EE |
EE is currently the only retailer with the ﷽Nintendo Switch 2 on the shelves, thouꦺgh it's reserved for the brand's monthly mobile customers right now.

ShopTo |
ShopTo has the Nintendo Switch 2 on backorder, but I'm unable to add to cart. This afternoon, limited 🍨Mario Kart World Switch 2 bundle stock went up, but itಞ sold out in minutes.

Amazon |
Amazon UK ♏did have the Nintendo Switch 2 in stock for release day, but it hasn't returned since availability ran out in the afternoon.

Nintendo Store |
Nintendo actually offered a fairly substantia🉐l Switch 2 restock last week, with both the Mario Kart World bundle and the standalone console on the shelves. That lasted around three hours and I haven't seen any more movement since.

Very |
Very was your go-to for last-minute pre-orders, even though delivery dates were slipped past launch week. However, the retailer seems to have spent all its launch day stock ea🎶rly - with nothing on the shelves sin🎀ce June 5.

Argos |
Argos doesn't look like it has any Nintendo Switch 2 handhelds on its online store right now, butও it could be worth checking with your local retailer.

Currys |
Currys is also out of Nintendo Switch 2 stocℱk, but with in-store locations available it's worth checking for soꦚme physical restocks as well.

Live updates

Antonline is back online!

Antonline's bundles are back in business today, though the cheapest package offer sits at $609.95. That does net you three Zelda Amiibo and a copy of Breath of the Wild NS2 Edition, and everything is sitting at its regular MSRP here. You're not paying inflated prices, but you are buying more stuff with your Switch 2 to have at this inventory.

Nintendo Switch 2 bundles |

Newegg has stock, but I'd steer clear

Newegg has finally filled in 🐲its Nintendo Switch 2 listing pages, but this stock is well overpriced. The standalone console is up for a w🥃hopping $849, sold by a third party marketplace. That's pretty bad form, especially considering we're expecting more stock to roll onto the shelves in the next few weeks.

Needlಌess to say, please don't take Neweg🃏g up on this offer.

UK stock is limited to EE Monthly Mobile customers, but there's a catch

EE does have the Nintendo Switch 2 in stock in the UK, but this allocation is reserved for the bran𝐆d's existing mobile customers. The 24-month bundle is added to your existing contract, coming in at £22 per month. Be wary, though, the final cost of that Switch 2 sits at £548 (including the £20 fee paid today) - a considerable increase on the £429.99 RRP.

Things might be quiet in the US for a little while

Both Walmart and Target hosted their own online Nintendo Switch 2 restocks late last week, running out of stock at around midnight on Friday night. With Best Buy and GameStop keeping their units in-store only, that co🍸uld mean things might be quiet for a little while here.

Friday's restocks were an extra wave on top of the launch day allocation each retailer received. The timing of the next drop will be crucial in working out how⛄ long it takes for each store to refresh that warehouse.

Smyths Toys expects more Nintendo Switch 2 stock from June 10 - June 16

UK shoppers should mark💯 their calendars for June 10. Smyths 🍷Toys has updated its site to let customers know it's expecting another wave of inventory from tomorrow, and that stock could last until June 16.

That means more units are rolling out to retailers fairly quickly (it will have taken five days for Sm𝕴yths to receive a new allocation if this restock turns out to be true).

Where to buy Nintendo Switch 2 memory cards

The Nintendo Switch 2 only takes a certain type of memory card, and with ♓game install sizes on the up it's well worth grabbing one when you pick up your console. The 256GB Samsung MicroSD Express is your go-to right now. It's a little pricier than the cards previously compatible with Nintendo's system, but it does offer increased speeds and is the only compatible model.

UK:

Antonline's bundles are now "coming soon"

Antonline has been releasing its stock in waves over the last week, and those bundles are currently paused on the retailer's website. I wouldn't꧂ worry if you've been eyeing up some extra games a💜nd accessories, I expect these packages will return soon enough.

Costco members might be in luck

Costco has a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle on the shelves with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online + Exp𒅌ansion Pack going as well. This is a members-only deal, though, with ♔delivery estimated for June 12.

Nintendo Switch 2 | Mario Kart World | NSO + Expansion Pack |

PSA: Don't pay Amazon's inflated prices

I've just stumbled upon a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle for a ludicrous £689 on Amazon's marketplace. They even have the cheek to say it's discounted from £750.

Just another reminder to ignore these price-gouged options. There will be more Nintendo Switch 2 stock back on the shelves before you know it. This is an impressive system, but it's definite🐟ly not worth £689.

New day, more Switch 2 hunting!

Good morning!

At least, it's the morning here all the way in the UK.
We're almost approaching a week since the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, if you can believe it or not, but the furtꦏher we get away from the big day, the harder it is to actually find one in stock.

Right now ♋in the US, there haven't been any new stock drops, but I'll be here for the full da♍y to keep you in the know if any retailers decide to unload more consoles.

In the UK, it's almost as quiet. I𓃲f it weren't for EE, who still have some Switch 2 consoles and bundles available to be added to your contract - if you have the means to budget in that extra monthly expense.

Hopefully, more retailers in the US and UK will release some Switch 2 stock throughout today.♏ And when they do, I'll be here 🌟to tell you all about it.

These Joy-Con 2 Twin Controller Grips make Mario Kart World a whole lotta fun

Photo of the STEALTH Twin Controller Grips for the Nintendo Switch 2 taken by Rosalie Newcombe.

Whenever a new Mario Kart game like Mario Kart World drops, I always find myself scurrying around to find enougꦫh controllers for local co-op.

Of course, you can just transform your Joy-Con 2 gamepads into two controllers, but that has never felt comfortable to me, which is why I've come to adore these STEALTH Twin Controller Grip🦂s.

There isn't much to these. All you need to do is pop in your left and right Joy-Con 2 into e🌸ach, pair them as a singular controller, and away you go. But now, instead of that awkward experience of trying to push the shoulder buttons, you have these large shoulder buttons built into the back of the grips, and the ergonomically designe🐬d handles make drifting to 1st place a breeze.

I took these 💜out for an evening of Mario Kart World with friends over the weekend, and we had a blast. Never did either Joy-Con burst out of the grips, and it made for a great alternative to h꧋aving multiple Pro Controllers at hand.

EE Switch 2 stock is still holding on - but there's a catch

EE is still sitting 🔯on some Switch 2 stock, but there's a ca🌼tch

The Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is♍ the only one left in stock, and can only be added to existing EE contracts in the UK. Adding the Switch 2 to your monthly bill will only cost an additional £22 a month, however, overall it will cost you £548 (including a £20 upfront cost) which is a lot higher than the handheld bundles' £429.99 RRP.

Switch 2 stock may be quiet, but there's still plenty amiibo

Switch 2 stock might be quiet today, but at least you💮 can still grab yourself an ami🉐ibo - or two.

The new Legend of Zelda amiibo figures were released on June 5, the same day as the 💮console, and introduce a special fabric for Link’s paraglider in Tears of the Kingdom, and g♐ive you extra items and weapons, too.

Remember, these amiibos aren't just compatible with Tears of the Kingdom, but they'll also gran𒁏t you extra goodies in Breath of the Wild. Which is great news for those planning on doing a replay now that the Switch 2 Editions of both 🐷games are finally available.

Want some storage for your Switch 2? A microSD Express Card is what you need

The Nintendo Switch 2 is only compatible with the speedier microSD Express Cards, if you want to st💫ore some extra games, or the latest screensh❀ots you've taken of your Mario Kart World adventures.

Luckily, there's a fair few of these faster cards available, including a licensed one by Samsung. Not only does it look the part with its charming Super Mario branding, but ༺it's also got an extra 256GB worth of space to double up your Switch 2 console storage.

If you've finally got your hands on the Switch 2, you likely want to play some actual games, and there's plenty of them.

While some of my personal most anticipated g𒀰ames, like Don🍌key Kong Bananza, are still a while away from release, brand-new releases like Mario Kart World and Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster are finally available to pick up and buy - if you know where to look.

NSO members can still grab this stunning GameCube controller

Photo of the NSO wireless GameCube controller taken by Rosalie Newcombe.

I grew up in the GameCube era so take my words with a pinch of sault, but the GameCube controller is one of the best in Nintendo's history. Still to this day, the purple-blue beast is in൩credibly comfortable to hold, which is why I jumped at the chance to grab the new Nintendo Switch Online wireless GameCube controller for myself at launch.

If you missed out, unlike the Switch 2 itself, this controller is still readily in stock. The only caveat is, you can only order it from an official Nintendo online store, and you need to be an active Nintendo Switch Online member to grab one.

But trust me, it's worth it.

PSA - Don't give into Switch 2 re-sellers today

Nintendo Switch 2 stock may be low right now, but whether you're based in the US or the UK, don't give in to resellers. I get that the shiny new handheld is appealing, and you'll want one as soon as possible, but stock hasn't been entirely horrendous - even on launch day there was an influx of Switch 2's available in the UK at least. So there's bound to be more incoming soon.

If you can be patient, you don't need to spend extortionate amounts of cash on second-hand sites. Trust me. Waiting a bit for a re-stock will be more worthwhile in the lo𓂃ng run.

Of all the headsets I've tested so far, the Razer Barracuda X Chroma is my current Switch 2 pick

As the hardware team's resident headset gal, I've been busy testing a wide range of audio tech with the Switch 2 ever since it launched last week. So far, not everything at my disposal has been full💛y compatible with the new handheld, but the Razer Barracuda X Chroma has become one of the best Switch 2 headsets I've tested so far.

The lightweight Razer pair of cups can be hooked up via Bluetooth or by popping the accompanying 2.4GHz dongle into the USB-C port at the top of the handheld. While other headsets I've tesed have been pretty quiet at full🐻 volum🐬e, the X Chroma makes everything from Mario Kart World to the Legend of Zelda WInd Wanker via NSO sound loud and absolutely sublime.

Better yet, thanks to the accompanying Razer app, you can customize the RGB lighting on the headsets through your phone make make the headset loౠok even more the part with y𝄹our new fancy Ninty handheld.

PSA - Nintendo has a quick fix for that Battery Charge Indicator issue

If you've already got your new shiny Switch 2, chances are y♔ou might have run into an issue with your battery already. According to , some handhelds are indicating that the battery is low, when actually there's plenty of hours left.

Nintendo has now come to the rescue with a quick fix, whꦗich should rectify any ba🌼ttery woes you have with your new handheld.

All you need to get started is the official charger that ꧅came with your Switch 2 and your Switch 2 console itself, and then you can follow the steps outlined in the on the official Nintendo website.

Remember - the brand-new Switch 2 doesn't hav🍷e the best battery out of the Switch family of systems. When fully charged, you should get between 2.5 to 6.5 hours of playt🍨ime.

Hey Street Fighter fans - the brand new amiibo cards are still in stock

If you've managed to collect al🅷l the brand-new Street Fighter 6 amiibo figures already, they aren't the only NFC-enabled goodies new to the Switch 2.

Right now, you can grab the amiibo card starter set, which includes 22 cards in total. Once scanned into your Switch 2 system, you can use the cards to save your SF6 player♚ settings like the character's outfit, color, and button settings, and gain exclusive in-game rewards.

This STEALTH Premium Switch 2 Travel case is a life saver

Photo taken by Rosalie Newcombe of the Switch 2 sitting in the STEALTH Premium Travel Kit.

Right now, I'm making my way through a lot of Switch 2 accessories for upcoming reviews, and out of all the cases, the STEALTH Premium Travel Case has impressed me the most so far.

It's a bulky case, that's for sure. But that's because it can store your Switch 2, up to 12 Switch game carts, an extra pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers, and a charging cable in there. If you don't have a spare cable to juice up your new handheld quite yet, in the UK, you can get a ve𒐪rsion of the STEALTH case which includes a charging cable and a spare screen protector in one handy kit.

This is a big case, so it won't fit in any one of my Loungefly backpacks next time I travel, that's for sure. But as someone who's pretty clumsy, especially when it comes to new pricey te♚ch, I've felt pretty secure keeping my Switch 2 tucked away in this case.

Switch 2 stock check-in!

Princess Peach in detective outfit on a blue background

So far, it's been a very quiet day for Switch 2 stock - even in the UK.

While it was hard to keep track of all the day-one drops, there isn't a lot to go around on the lead-up to the console's one-week anniversary. Right now, EE is still your best bet if you haven't yet snapped up the new Ninty handheld for yourself. As of typing, the Mart Kart World bundle is still in stock, but it's only available for those with existing EE contracts in the UK.

In the US, the situation is a bit more dire. There has been no new Switch 2🏅 stock drops from any notable US-based retailers so far today. That being said, please don't use this as a reason to resort to resellers, as there's bound to be future restocks on the horizon.

There's still plenty time to pre-order Donkey Kong Bananza

Donkey Kong Bananz𝓡a is easily one of my most highly anticipated Switch 2 titles, but it doesn't release🦄 until July 17.

With there still a little while to wait until I can start monkeying around in the new platformer, 🃏I made sure to finally pre-order th𒉰e Switch 2 game today - and there's plenty of time for you to do the same! That is, if you're a bit of DK fan like me.

Donkey Kong's next adventure is available fro🌳m a wealth of 🍎US and UK retailers right now. Unlike Switch 2 itself, it's not difficult to find the game in stock, but I wouldn't count on that being the case the closer it gets to mid-July.

The Dbrand Killswitch Switch 2 case is pricey but impressive

Photo taken by Rosalie Newcombe of the Dbrand Killswitch case on a Nintendo Switch 2.

Not everyone will have the means to splash out $59.99 on a case for their 🦩brand-new Switch 2, and that's a-okay. There are plenty of low-cost alternatives like Nintendo's first-party Switch 2 Carrying Case for , but the Drand Killswitch Switch 2 case has rarely left my handheld since launch day, and I can't imagine my new Nin💜ty set up without it.

The Switch 2 Killswitch is designed from the ground up to be compatible with your Switch 2, with or without the Joy-Con 2 controllers attached. And while it adds some ex💛tra bulk to your device, Dbrand thought of that and has included a custom-built Switch 2 dock adapter with built-in 4k60 passthrough via a USB-C port with every case.

Not only does the Killswitch p꧃rotect your new shiny Nintendo tech, but it also provides extra storage for your Switch and Switch 2 game carts. And it doesn't cover up your handheld's USB-C ports, so you can still give your console a quick charge, or hook up a portable USB-C camera on top of the handheld without issue.

Very just dropped some new Switch 2 stock!

If you're quick enough, you might be able to grab yourself the Mario Kart Worꦫld Switch 2 bundle, as Very just dropped some more stock.

With this, you not only ge🤪t Ninty's shiny new console, but also a digital code for Mario Kart World. If you prefer physical games, you can hold out for restocks of the standard console. But stock has been so dry today that I recommend not giving this a miss.

That Very Switch 2♈ stock sold out fast. Now, if you try and grab one, you'll just be redirected to the Very homepage - which isn't great unless you're afte꧅r a fresh new wardrobe.

At least, Very isn't entirely without Switch 2 goodies, as right now you c𒁏an grab a whole load of Switch 2 games s☂tarting from £41.99 at the UK retailer. There's also a wealth of accessories still in stock, from the Switch 2 camera, an extra pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers, and that cute Hori Piranha Plant camera too.

Smyths Toys expects more Switch 2 stock from June 12 - June 16

If you were with us yesterday, you'll have read the Smyths Toys in the UK are planning on getting in more Switch 2 stock between June 10 and June 16.

Now, the official Smyths Toys listing for the Ninty handheld states that more Switch 2 standard console, and the Mario Ka♐rt World Buꦿndle units are expected between June 12 to June 16. That's just a couple days off from what it said before, but it's still better than no stock at all!

ShopTo has Mario Kart World Switch 2 bundles back in stock

There's limited availability of the Mario Kart World Bundles, so I'd get in there fast if you're eager to finally grab the new Ninty handheld.

ShopTo Switch 2 stock is already sold out

That didn't last🦹 long, that's for sure. ShopTo has already sold out of the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundles afꦰter what felt like minutes, if not seconds.

For now, all that remains is a big red "Backorder Now" button. However, I've never been able to actually click it myself. For now, if you want a Switch 2 in the UK, there's always EE. But you will need to be a curre꧋nt contracted customerꦿ in the UK to get one.

Switch 2 stock might be quiet, but you still can still grab the new Pro Controller

In the US, there have been no signs of any new st🏅ock whatsoever.

In the ꦺUK it's been a bit better, with retailers like ShopTo and Very releasing small amounts of the Ninty handheld, but they sold out in minutes♛. At least, it's not as challenging to get hold of some Switch 2 accessories like the new Pro Controller.

This new controller is just as ergonomic and comfortable as its predecessor, but now it features the new HD rumble, the new C button to activate GameChat, and two re-mappable back buttons. Plus, unlike the original controller, this will actually wake your Switch 2 up from sleep mode tꦺoo.

The big red 'Backorder Now' button on the Mario Kart World Switch 2 bundle at ShopTo has been present for a while, but until this moment, I've never been able to actually press 🐭it.

Finally, you can backorder a Switch 2♛ Mario Kart World bundle at the UK retailer, and your order will be processed once the retailer gets the handheld back in stock. I don't𝔉 know exactly when that'll be (and neither does ShopTo), but it's better than nothing.

EE still has some Switch 2 stock left but it's not so simple

Nintendo Switch with screen off sitting on a wooden desk

As we approach a week since the launch of t🍎he Switch 2, stock has been drying up. Today, there were some surprise drops from UK retailers ShopTo and Very but they sold out in minutes, and in the US, there's been no drops to be found anywhere.

If you're still trying to secure yourself Ninty's latest handheld, you aren't entirely out of options in the UK. Right no♑w, EE still has some Switch 2s available, but there are a few caveats. For one, you need to be a contracted EE customer. Secondly, grabbing it will add the Switch 2 to your monthly bill for £22 a month (including a £🎐20 upfront cost), and in total it'll cost you £548, which is more than the handheld's £429.99 RRP.

Whether that's a deal breaker or not will depend on how𒐪 big your budget can stretch. But personally, I recommend being patient and holding off instead. The tiny Switch 2 drops today proved that there's still plenty of opportunities to grab the console for its usual price, and I have a feeling there will be plenty more to come.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Hitman has been getting new Elusive Targets for pla💞yers to take down thanks to content updates for over nine years now, and as World of Assassination gets its latest in the form of James Bond villain Le Chiffre, one senior level designer tells us the hardest part about making them is "actually keeping the target alive."

Casino Royale's Le Chiffre joining Hitman World of Assassination was one of the surprise reveals from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025. Successfully taking him out will net you a reward in IO Interactive'sﷺ upcoming James Bond game 007 First Light, even though Hitman senior level designer Martin Ansdal has since told us "that does not imply a larger, shared thing" between t🌺he two universes.

In the same interview, we asked how IO Interactive approaches designing a level like this when players have so many differe𝓡nt ways to tackle it and complete the mission. Ansdal agrees that this is certainly a challenge "after all the updates" that have been added, including "the banana peel," which can be used to make people slip over in true slapstick fashion. "So that's something we now have to consider," he says.

Beyond that, though, "the hardest part is actually keeping the target alive, because the player has so many꧙ ways" to take them out. Ansdal points 💫to the antics of speedrunners and "some of the stuff they do." He explains: "Le Chiffre took like five months to make, and some guy will surely do it in like a second or something."

Are any braveꦐ speedrunners going to take that on as a challenge? I hope so. When it comes to solutions to the latest level, Ansdal mentions he's "definitely seen some banana peel shenanigans," as well as "something that required a very special solution," although he didn't reveal what, teasing that players could "try to figure out the thing" instead.

Mads Mikkelsen says his roles in Death Stranding and Hitman both had "one thing" in common: "I had no idea what was going on."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The last thing I expected to do over the weekend was play Switch 2 using a PS5 DualSense, but tജhat's ex💧actly how I spent my Saturday. It turns out that, despite annoying limitations with other accessories, you can in fact use adapters to sync Sony's pad with Ninty's new handheld.

Admittedly, I wasn't originally planning to pair the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PS5 DualSense. The original goal was to check if my MayFlash Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter was compatible with the new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming handheld contender. Spoilers, it is, and while🅘 that 𝓡means you can use your OG console gamepads instead of the fancy new Nintendo Online exclusive version, it's also a pathway to using a bunch of other pads too.

To actually pair a DualSense with the Switch using the MayFlash GameCube adapter, you will need a dongle to plug into its controller ports. Specifically, you'll want to pick up an 8BitDo Bluetooth Retro Receiver for NGC, as the gadget will act as a wireless bridge and let you sync the PS5 pad and plenty of other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch controllers and alternatives.

Before any of you start angrily bashing on your keyboard, I'm aware that adapters like the Mayflash Magicಌ-S Pro 2 adapter will pair the DualSense with the Switch 2 without the need for GameCube shenanigans. My response to that is that I both love a cursed setup and already had the Wii U accessory and 8BitDo dongle to hand.

However, I also suspect that the Magic-S Pro 2 is more likely to lose support following Switch 2 ♊updates than the MayFlash GameCube Controller adapter. Just like Nintendo's original Wii U accessory, the latter is naturally designed to let players tap into eight-player support in fighters like Super Smash Bros Ultimate. In other words, it has an endorsed purpose, whe💜reas the Magic-S Pro 2 exists to let you be naughty and play Ninty games using Xbox and PlayStation pads.

The main point I'm mak𓆏ing is that if you use the 8BitDo Retro Receiver with the MayFlash adapter, the Switch 2 will merely think you're using a GameCube controller. So far, I haven't come across any button mapping issues or lag when playing games like Mario Kart World and Zelda: Wind Waker. It's also worth noting that MayFlash still issues firmware updates for its accessory despite the fact that it released 11 years ago, meaning if any compatibility woes crop up, all is not lost.

I know for a fact some of you will be wondering why you'd want to play Switch 2 using a DualSense in the first 🧜place. Admittedly, I'm probably going to mostly play with an original Switch Pro Controller or a GameCube pad, depending on the outing, but it's still nice to have the option to pretend the handheld is a PS5. Plus, with new 🌊pads coming in at a staggering $84.99 / £74.99, this cursed setup proves to be a far cheaper multiplayer solution.

Switch 2 accessory compatibility, as i💃t currently stands, is pretty upsetting. Sure, it's nice that the OG JoyCon, gamepads, and even your own USB webcams will work on the handheld, but Nintendo has effectively broken Switch 2 dock support if you go third party. Even the Pro Controller can no longeꦍr wake the portable from sleep mode, and that's the kind of move that'll tempt me to do things like use a DualSense instead.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> If you're𒀰 wondering whether Mario Kart World is on Switch 1, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

Mario Kart World is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, which means it is not available on Switch 1 or any other Switch consoles.

Nintendo has said that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World essentially wouldn't have been possible on the original Switch - it needs the fe🔯atures and specs of the Nintendo Switch 2 to run how the developers 🤪intended.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, Kosuke Yabu🃏ki, Producer Mario Kart World, told us that "the biggest factor is the computational power of 🐠the Nintendo Switch 2" when it comes to Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives.

"The expansive world, the wide variety of players and characters, and the wide variety of objects within this world, and everything working at 60fps, it was th🌃anks to the processing power of the Nintendo Switch 2 that we could achieve this," Yabuki-san addeꦚd. "Overall it is thanks to the Nintendo Switch 2 that we achieved everything we wanted to achieve with Mario Kart World."

He added that the team was "dying to have thꩵis performance and power🦹" to play with.

However, it's not just the graphical grunt that ꧂the Switch 2 offers, it's also about other new features - particularly Game Chat.

"When it comes to Mario Kart, it's always been a key concept to play and have fun together wi🃏th other players. With GameChat you are able to chat with friends while playing and see their screens, and also to display their faces above the racing characters. This was a major evolution when it comes to Mario Kart."

So there you have it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Just like PlayStation consoles used to launch with a Ridge Racer, so it seems Nintendo Switch consoles launch with a Fast game – the first console had Fast RMX, and now for Nintendo Switch 2, we get Fast Fusion. Funnily enough, both launch titles have turned out to be sleeper hits both in sales and quality. With many Switch 2 owners likely seduced by its comparatively diminutive price point, the little-celebrated racing series from Shin’en Multimedia made it to number two on the eShop sales charts behind 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World on launch day, giving Switch 2 a one-two of racing games at launch. Amazing scenes♉.

Fast Fusion is a futuristic racing game from the same mould as Wipeout and F-Zero, though it feels more like the former with its vehicles hovering higher above the track and getting some serious air too. Unlike Wipeout, there’s a jump button that allows you to spring into the air at any time, giving the track designers opportunity to add shortcuts and tricky-to-reach boost orbs, rewarding skilful play in style, though thankfully the shortcut element isn’t overplayed. It’s a relatively straightforward experience for the most part, and much less punishing than F-Zero GX (which is al🅠so available on Switch 2 via the Online Membership and very much worth playing too).

Well it ain't slow

Fast facts

Release date: June 5, 2025
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch 2
Developer: In-house
Publisher: Shin'en Multimedia

And the title ‘FAST’ is no misnomer; it really is incredibly fast. On the initial tier it’s speedy enough, but on later levels your vehicle absolutely scintillates as it rockets past gorgeous scenery at hu❀ndreds of☂ miles per hour. By the time you get to these races, you’ll be so ‘in the zone’, the speed will just sort of dissolve into a blur – a very good-looking blur – as you look for boost orbs, track on which to safely land after a jump, and the two-colored boost pads.

As with Fast RMX, you need to switch color of your ship with a tap of the X button in order to use the appropriately-colored boost pad, otherwise it will sap your speed instead. If anything, the boost pad switching is oddly underplayed, the pads being spaced apart far enough that you’ll very rarely find yourself without time to switch to the correct color. Adding a third color might have been welcome, but at least this is intense wit꧙hout being overwhelming.

You get several modes of play, all o🍌f which are engrossing. Championship mode sees you completing sets of three races, earning points from each as you t🍒ry to top a table against 9 CPU-controlled opponents. Then there's Time Attack where you can race against the dev team’s times, which is always fun, but the best mode by far is Super Hero.

Racing through a stony gap in Fast Fusion for Nintendo Switch 2, above the muddy ground

Here, instead of having a boost bar, you h✃ave a single bar representing your shields. Boosting and jumping use up some of the bar, but you can replenish it with either boost orbs or travelling over boost pads while switched to the correct color. Instead of gingerly trying not to use up your bar, success comes from aggressively boosting into enemies and trying to stay ahead of the pack. You have to finish first to complete the level, and any crash ends your run. It’s ultra-hardcore, and brilliantly playable.

The difficulty level is high, but not so much in terms of navigating the circuits. There are actually far fewer moments of being lost in mid-air than in the previous game. Rather, the AI pilots are very quick, sometimes overtaking you even when you’re flat out and boosting. There does appear to be some element of rubber-banding going on, but that doesn't seem to be the cu⛎lprit as you begin to struggle to finish higher than fourth with the initial group of ships 💝no matter how well you fly.

The Fusion Shop where you unlock new vehicles in Fast Fusion for Nintendo Switch 2

This is where the ‘Fusion’ part of the name comes in. By fusing two ships together, you can create a faster, better hybrid♊. Each hybrid has a letter rating, and combining the two most expensive ships will give you an A-rated machine (or higher) that can suddenly win races again. It's not a perfect system, and feels a bit convoluted. Good old careful balancing with the stock craft would have been better and certainly more fun, though it is rewarding to make a good one and start to win again.

Significantly visually richer than the old game.

Longtime fans should also note the new game is very similar in its gameplay and presentation to Fast RMX, to the point that – having not played RMX much at all for 8 years - I did have to just dip back to the Switch 2’s🎃 dashboard to make sure I was playing the new one. It’s that familiar. However, having since gone back and played Fast RMX to comparဣe the two, the new game is significantly visually richer than the old game. They're just demonstrably iterations of essentially the same thing.

What magic is this?

Sharing is caring

Beginning Nintendo Switch 2 Game Share in Fast Fusion

You can play Fast Fusion with another Switch gamer – even (locally at least) if they only have th⛄e original Switch. Choose Game Share and two players can race locally or over the internet. Oddly, even the host console looks like it's streaming the game instead of running natively, but each player gets their own one-ship screen. Bonkers, but it works.

But one of the biggest reasons to pick this up is🌃 the fact that, somehow, Fast Fusion is running at 4K and 60fps, from a tiny tablet. It’s unreal just how powerful Switch 2 appears to be, all coming from this diminutiv🌃e form factor that makes a Steam Deck look like it's made of cereal packets. That said, there is some disappointing blurriness to the rendering that might be caused by some kind of nVidia DLSS upscaling going on, which hopefully won’t become a trademark of Switch 2’s graphics at 4K.

That said, on the third of the four graphics settings, it frequently looks sensational, especially when there are tornadoes whirling around ahead of you. There’s even some vehicular destruction with some pieces falling off yo✅ur craft as you crash and burn. There is an ultra-qual﷽ity 4K mode that renders at 30fps, but that should be avoided at all costs. After the sheer joyous fluidity, 30fps just doesn't cut it. Not anymore.

It's very easy to lose hours to Fast Fusion because it's just so damn playable. It's an imperfectly formed gem, but a gem non𓃲etheless. Finally, it sounds absolutely wonderful with fantastic music featuring some superb electric guitar work. It sounds like the future, looks like the future, but plays like the past. Nothing 🌠wrong with that.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 developer Gearbox is "confident" that its upcoming looter shooter is "turning out to be be𓃲tter" than Borderlands 3, according to boss Randy Pitchford.

Pitchford has been doing some investigation on Twitter over the last week or so, polling Borderlands fans on which factors they consider are more likely to correlate with a "beඣtter" game, from average play time to positive user reviews. Overall, his polls suggested that fans value "high actual play time" above other factors, although he's since pointed out t🐷hat, in an "interesting" twist, players also voted Borderlands 2 as a "larger" game than Borderlands 3, despite the actual stats showing a higher average playtime on the latter.

In his on the matter, Pitchford notes that "I wouldn't focus on the time – it's the relativity that matters." After all, in this context, average playtimes are aꦚ slightly inaccurate way to measure things since you've got people on both extremes – those who'll play for all of five minutes, and others who rack up hundreds if not thousands of hours – influencing the overall figures. That, and "BL2 has an advantage for having been out so much longer than BL3."

Overall, though, his playtime results suggest Borderlands 3 "is 'better' than BL2 by the standard the people who responded to my poll hav𝐆e fav⭕ored." Pitchford recognises that "obviously individual tastes vary and entertainment is subjective. We are all edge cases."

Concluding, however, it doesn't sound like the results of Pitchford's polls really mattered that much at all when it comes to Borderlands 4. "In any case, by any standard we've thrown at it, w🔜e are confident that BL4 is turnin🍷g out to be better than BL3 by every measurement we have, including subjective ones, so that makes us very excited about the launch!" he adds.

For now, it's just a waiting game to see if that really is the case. There's still quite a wait for Borderlands 4, with it set to arrive on most platforms on September 12, but hey, thatꦚ's 11 whole days sooner than we 🥃originally expected.

Gearbox finally responds to series-wide Borderlands review bomb after 19 days, says its owner "does not use spyware" and it's actually OK with most mods.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Of the biggest new features for the Nintendo Switch 2 is Game Share, which is essentially a way of sharing your games with your friends so they can play multiplayer with you without having to own the game.🧜 But the big question is whether Mario Kart World has Game Share?

Y꧅ou'd think that the headline Nintendo Switch 2 launch game would support Game Share, but the answer is a bit more complicated.

Does Mario Kart World support Game Share?

Mario Kart World does not support Game Share or being shared online via Game Chat.

Game Share not being a feature for Mario Kart World is a real shame, as it's practically a perfect game for the functionality with so many of us w꧋anting to play Mario Kart World with our friends.

We assume it's because Mario Kart World is the headline system-seller for Nintendo Switch 2 that it doesn't support🍬 the feature, as Nintendo is hoping for more people to want to buy Mario Kart World than share it from someone else.

What is Game Share?

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Share essentially allows you to share and play games with your friends locally. The crucial thing♑ is that they don't need to own the game, and can be playing on Switch 2, Switch 1, Switch OLED or even Switch Li🐟te.

You will need to be close by and on t🍌he same Wi-Fi network to do it, and you'll have to be sharing your game from a Switch 2𝄹.

If🌺 you want to share your game with friends online, you'll have to use Game Chat instead.

Here's our full guide to and which games are compatible.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Everyone's favorite Danish actor, Mads Mikkelsen, is returning to video games after his role as Clifford Unger in Hideo Kojima's critically acclaimed Death Stranding. As announced at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest this weekend, Mikkelsen is adding a new addition꧑ to his video game credits, playing the latest celebrity target in Hitman Wo🐓rld of Assassination. earlier this weekend, Mikkelsen shared a fascinating behind-the-scenes tidbit for both this new role and his role as Unger.

"I had no idea what was going on," he admits, when asked if approaching this role was different at all from Death Stranding, or if he just "jumped right back into it." Apparently, this is the one thing both roles had in common. He initiaꦇlly explained how odd it was when recording for Death Stranding to be in a room with no set and wearing the mo-cap gear, which he described as "green tights" and "dots on our faces." Despite being out of his element, Mikkels✤en had no problem delivering a solid performance as Unger.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:For his performance in Hitman, Mikkelsen is actually stepping back into sওome familiar shoes, as he'll be 📖playing his Casino Royale character, Le Chiffre.

Ultimately, M꧋ikkelsen answered the question by saying that "there was a difference for sure," before admitting that their core similarity was that he was kind of clueless about what was happening around him. Normally, that wouldn't exactly incite confidence in an actor's performance, but Mikkelsen is the type of person many can agree will deliver regardless of whether he's thrown into an empty studio wearing some tights or is in costume on a set. Besides, this lets the rest ofඣ us know that even if we never have any idea what's going on, clearly, we can achieve anything – Mads Mikkelsen is now definitive proof of that.

"I got to shag his wife and kill him, so let's see what happens in the game": 26 years before becoming David Bateson's target in Hitman, Mads Mikkelsen worked with the Agent 47 actor on a Danish short film

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> At first blush, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light looks like quite the departure for Hitman developer IO Interactive, but apparently it's also not the s𝓰traightforward, Uncharted-style action game that it appears to be. Fear not, there's still plenty of Hitman DNA in there.

We caught up with IO's 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, and we basically asked him for a vibe check. Is 007: First Light the linear, cinematic action game it looks like in its from this week, or can we expect to see mꦬore of the Hitman s🌌eries' systems-driven design that IO has become known for these days?

"It's neither," he said. "IOI has a pedigree, and that fits really we💞ll with the [007] IP, so we are leaning into that, 🥂of course. But that would not tell the full story ... we are leaning a lot on what IOI does best."

So, it definitely sounds like IOI diehards won't be left wanting for the studio's signature style, but Lacaille added that, "We had to come up with a lot of new things that IOI had to le🌞arn and to 🦩reiterate on to really bring the Bond experience."

He mentioned driving as an example of a new gameplay mechanic IOI had to learn, as the Hitman games don't have driving. Shooting guns, likewise, is something you really don't want to do much in Hitman, but naturally in a game like 007: First Light, it's a big part of the experience. Still, Lacaille stressed that "we don't want the game to just go🔯 by shooting and shooting and shooting. We want to give the player a lot of tools to feel as smart as Bond in the game."

After a somewhat conspicuously long period of silence, 007: First Light is slated for launch next year on PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store.

007: First Light devs chose a James Bond origin story to help be "more relatable" to a "younger audience maybe than the Bond franchise is used to"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Following the arrival of Sony's hotly anticipated 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play showcase earlier this week and the first look it provided of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy Tactics: The Iva♕lice Chronicles, OG director Yasumi Matsun🐎o has finally addressed a fan-edited quote that's 𒀰been fooling us all for years.

"If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for th💜e lower class." It'𒊎s a line many Final Fantasy Tactics fans know well, but there's a catch to it – it never actually appears in the 1997 RPG from Square Enix. Aftermath explored into believing it truly originated from the game in 2023, only to later present in Final Fantasy Tactics – the very one turned into a meme by .

"What purpose do laws serve when even those who would enforce them choose not to pay them heed?" That's the real in-game line, but according to Fina𝐆l Fantasy Tactics director Yasumi Matsuno, the one more commonly shared isn't exactly unrealistic, either. "I found the line that became an internet meme interesting," writes the lead in a new , going on to recite the viral "penalty for a crime" quote known so well in the community.

"Of course, this line was not written by me, nor is it a line in Final Fantasy Tactics," admits Matsuno. "However, it certainly sounds like something I would have written. It's a shame I didn't know about this funny line until today." Replies under the director's post mention just how many folks actually believed the🌟 meme's line was real, prompting Matsuno to respond that it might simply be because a majority of players didn't get far in-game.

"Wiegraf is very popular," he jokes. "I am sure it is because many players stop playing at Chapter 1." Elsewhere in the comments, Matsuno addresses a fan's question about politics in Final Fantasy Tactics, saying that while the line and themes surrounding it can be✱ perceived as political, the RPG's primary purpose is to entertain its players: "It's entertainment, so whether or not it's political, the important thing is whether or not it's entertaining."

There's no telling what the line will look like in The Ivalice Chronicles come the remake's big release on September 30 this year, but one thing's for certain – there are likely bound to be plenty of new memes made by fans to enjoy and speculate about post-launch.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light isn't the only James Bond-related project IO Interactive had been keeping under wraps, as the studio has also brought Mads Mikkelsen's ico♋nic Casino Royale villain Le Chiffre in for Hitman🅷's latest Elusive Target. Just don't expect this to be the start of a larger connected universe bringing the two franchises together.

"What you saw from First Light, it's a completely original Bond and a completely original universe," senior Hitman level designer Martin Ansdal tells me in a Summer Game Fest interview. "I think they want, really, to design a Bond for video games, and that has to be a distinct and separate universe. So there's no plans💜 for crossover."

Since Le Chiffre is a character pulled from the Daniel Craig movie universe, he "would not have been able to exist" in the same world as new game 007 First Light, Ansdal continues, "because that creates 🌺confusion about🗹 what universe it is."

As IO sees it, "you can have Madಞs Mikkelsen as a guest star in the World of Assassination, but it's important to state that does not imply a larger, shared thing."

Regardless, Le Chiffre's appearance in Hitman has given the team room to create something "more🐠 ambitious" than 🌠previous Elusive Targets, and Ansdal says that's important for the studio, the Hitman brand, and himself as a designer.

"When I go to work, I don't try to make 'content.' I try to do something special, like something that doesn't exist in other games. An experience you couldn't have in any other game. [🏅No] other game will have you dress up as a flamingo and kill Le Chiffre with a banana peel he slips on. You cannot get that anywhere else."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Colorful third-person shooter Splatoon 3 wasn't one of the OG Switch games to receive a Switch 2 update like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and although players have identified many games run🦋ning better on the new cons𝔉ole without a patch, squid fans🐟 have found a bizarre Switch 🎀2-exclusive bug that's giving them an advantage.

As discovered by and further hꦬighlighted by OatmealDome on Twitter, Switc🐽h 2 Splatoon 3 players can currently take advantage of a "GAME-BREAKING BUG" that lets them "SQUID ROLL ANYWHERE LOL."

"Gam🌱e breaking" is a bit of an exaggeration, but this is still a pretty big deal. Squid Rolling is a movement mechanic introduced in the third Splatoon game, which allows you to quickly twirl out of your ink to change direction. It briefly red𒆙uces damage taken, and can be used to dodge certain attacks, retreat from danger, or otherwise reposition yourself.

But, again, the idea is that you're only meant to be able t🔯o do this if the surface you're on is covered in your own ink. If you're in the middle of enemy territory and are getting shot with their ink, chances are you won't be able to roll out of danger quite so effectively. Or 🍰at least, you can't on the Switch 1 version – on Switch 2, players have now reported being able to Squid Roll on un-inked surfaces, as well as on enemy ink. Needless to say, this could give Switch 2 players a huge advantage if used well.

How does something like this happen when the game hasn't been updated, though? That's still not known for sure, but OatmealDome has shared some speculati🍎on. "This might be an issue with Switch 1 GPU emulation/translation, since Splatoon games have had issues with ink detection in unofficial emulators due to bugs in their GPU emulation," they suggest.

It seems unlikely that Nintendo is going to let this ꦡone stand, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a patch soon to correct this. In the meantime, though, that the shooter is currently "pay to 🍌win."

Step aside, Super Horn: Mario Kart World's "exploitable" new Rewind feature is the best way to dodge blue shells in single-player or bring the CPU racers down with you.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to the critica🌊lly-acclaimed Breath of the Wild, is an absolute beast of a game. It took myself weeks to finish, and others even months due to breaks in between. This one streamer, however, took it upon himself to stream the entire game, achieving 100% completion, in 136 hours.

Streamer Eric "PointCrow" M🦋orino completed a 136-hour stream on Twitch last week, any breaks taken to tend to his bodily needs, such as sleep, done on stream. According to a celebratory – accompanied by the most exhausted-looking photo you can imagine – PointCrow declared he had 100%'d the open world RPG in 136 hours, 44 minutes, and one second. A feat for sure, but not one many would have the desire to complete in the slightest.

For reference, states a completionist playthrough takes players an average o🌞f 248 hours. It could be argued that he essentially speedran the whole thing.

PointCrow himself jokes saying "I only burst blood vessels in both my eyes," and I can't imagine the guy is going to look at a screen again for about a week. A fan even if he plans to do it again 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:on the Nintendo Switch 2, referencing the faster load-times as a benefit. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World is here, and as well as introducing 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:nifty new wall and rail-riding mechanics, another fresh feature is proving that the blue shell-destroying Super Horn has had its day – ♈Rewind is the future (at lea൲st, when you're just playing by yourself).

Rewind does exactly what its name suggests – when you're playi🌌ng offline by yourself, be it in a race or while in Free Roam, you ꦛcan hit down on the D-pad to take your racer back in time. The idea is that if you make a mistake – maybe you missed an Item Box, or messed up a turn – you can immediately retrace your steps.

Other CPU racers aren't affected, so you have to use it sparingly so they don't zoom on ahead of you while you're busy time traveling, but players have quickly found that it's very useful when it comes ꦗto dꦺodging the notorious blue shells, as well as all other manner of things.

"The rewind feature is sooooooooo exploitable that you can use this to dodge offline in Grand Prix and Knockout Tour," one player writes, sharing a clip of the feature in action. "I literally dodge both blue shell and lightning at the same time. This is sooooo cheaꦐting LMFAOOOOOO."

"Once ꦆagain, I have outsmarted Miyamoto," Jeff Grubb ཧjokes on Twitter, demonstrating another masterful blue shell dodge.

Meanwhile, another player shows that even if you don't quite manage to time the𝕴 dodge correctly with Rewind, you can still bring other unsuspecting racers down with you. It's definitely the heinous use of the feature, but hey, it's rather funny – Baby Peach must have been left flabbergasted in this player's clip.

Again, it's worth keeping in mind that you can only do this in single-player – Rewind isn't going to ruin online races, because it's literally unusable there. It's a good job, too – can you imagine the rage?

Nintendo, what have you done: Moo Moo Cow has completely overtaken Mario Kart World lobbies as Switch 2 players embrace the best new character.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> With the release of Deltarune's latest chapters this past week – chapters three and four finally joining the fold – everyone and their mother appears to be playing Toby Fox's popular RPG. That includes streamers, of course, and it seems that those who use🎃 YouTube as their platform of choice are running into a problem that Fox himself has now had to address: copyright strikes.

YouTube's copyright strikes are an ongoing issue, as the Google-owned platform has an automated system that is extremely hard to dispute once it's made its verdict. F🅷ox is still encouraging streamers to fight the good fight, however, as the music in his beloved game is frღee to use.

According to Fox, "the music has so many streams it hit a threshold for increased copyright strike aggression. Not kiddingꦕ."

He pleads with YouTu💖be streamers, "PLEASE dispute these claims and they should be resolved." Fox isn't the first indie dev to find his internationally acclaimed game to unfairly affect streamers because of its sick in-game mu🐼sic.

Back in 2020, not long after Stardew Valley's 1.5 update, developer Eric Barone – known for his moniker "ConcernedApe" – that any copyright claims made due to the streaming of his game should be brought up to ♈him, as he is the sole owner to the rights of his farming game's music.

"If you're aware of anyone ever getting 'flagged' for using Stardew music please let me knoꦺw" was Barone's own plea to players back then, particularly pertaining to Twitch streamers at the🐼 time.

The fact that Barone requested players to report these flags to himself is something Fox may want to consider, as the appeals process on YouTube can feel like talking to a brick wall. According to of their copyright claims process, more than a billion content ID claims have been made by their automated detection system between July 2023 and December 2023 – slightly dated information, buཧt you get the gist – and less than 1% of those claims have been disputed.

Well, yes. That's how math works; provide a number as big as "more 𝔍than one billion" and you're most lik💛ely going to end up with juxtaposing percentage in the single digits range. Rounding with 1%, that gets you 10 million people disputing those claims – the population size of several major cities. Not exactly something to pat yourself on the back for.

Now that I've done actual math for 📖this, I think it's safe to say that the only thing that's going to help out the hundreds, if not thousa﷽nds, of YouTube streamers getting slapped with copyright claims for both Undertale and Deltarune, is Toby Fox himself publicly calling it out. YouTube doesn't want to make cool guy Toby Fox mad; that's just a bad look.

"I wish there was some way to not have these claims," Fox says. "However, YouTube's music system forces their existence. And if I try to remove my rights to the mus🦋ic from the system, bad actors will pretend that they own it to claim videos and make money."

So, for any YouTu🐼be streamers out there, if you're in line for a copyright claim appeal, STAY IN LINE.

After breaking Steam, Deltarune dev Toby Fox appears to aim to break the internet: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure to load up your save file one more time afterwards"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Project 007 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:has a shiny new titl🉐e: 007 First Light, and a 2026 release window. Plus, IO Interactive has shown off plenty of gameplay, even if that's through very quick snippets. It's still👍 enough to give us a much stronger sense of wh🐼at this Bond origin story actually is, and where the Hitman developer seems to be taking it.

IO Interactive has also revealed that they will be hosting a more in-depth showcase during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule, where we'll learn even more about 007 First Light. The story is set outside of established canon, dialling back the clock to show the MI6 agent in, well, a different light compared to the movies and books. Here, it centers on a young, fresh-faced James Bond out of the Navy as he attempts to prove himself to the agency as a 00 candidate. All while dealing with an agent gone rogue, and getting to grips with an arsenal of spy gadgets and very luxurious vintage cars. The gameplay we've seen so far looks incredible, and we're excited that the studio behind some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best stealth games 🎉of all time is having a go at ▨our favorite super spy.

James Bond is an institution for a reason, too (check out any one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Bond movies for a reminder of why). It's an excitin🐬g combination. Even with 007 First Light potentially a year or more away, we're here to let you know everything there is to know about the exciting new James Bond adventure. Prepare to sip a martini (shaken, obviously), and take in all the latest Project 007 news and updates.

What is 007 First Light?

Bond saying the classic

Project 007 (now called 007 First Light) will be a brand new stealth-action game from the genre masters at IO Interactive – the studio behind the beloved Hitman franchise.

We should keep in mind that "Project 007" was always the working title for this new Bond game. But while the title has now changed, we know tha🍌t the game's DNA likely won't. has described the upcoming games as "Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 statu🐓s in the very first James Bond origin story." It includes the developer's talents for stealth shown in Hitman, of course, but dials up the action as well to deliver a classic rip-roaring Bond adventure.

007 First Light release date speculation

007 First Light's release date was recently revealed to be sometime in 2026, meaning we won't be waiting as long as we first feared. Or, like Bond earning his '00' status, it won't be long until the start of 007 First Light, but that first release date is just the start⭕ of th🍌e adventure.

"This is just the beginning of our journey with 007," Hakan Abrak, CEO & co-owner of IO Interactive confirmed during the announcement. It fits with what we've seen from the studio before, as the live tail on Hitman 3 and Hitman: World of Assassina🐭tion was incredibly important for that game. It seems we may see more like this from 007 First Light. The good news is, it won't be long at all until we can earn the numerals for ourselves.

007 First Light platforms

007 First Light looks set to arrive on all major platforms, with confirmation it'll be arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC across both Steam and Epic.

Those with an IOI account will also be able to unlock🌠 a bonus outfit and weapon skin too, so consider signing up if you haven't already for Hitman.

007 First Light trailer

The proper reveal at the PlayStation State of Play gives us a nice introduction to 007 First Light's st🧔ory and its gameplay, but leaves us hungry for more. Beginning with an introduction to James Bond's background as an orphan and how he came to be recruited to the 00 programme where he must earn his codename, it then shows him on a globetrotting adventure across numerous locations. Mixing together quiet and loud moments, there's sneaky stealth through guarded locations, and thrilling set pieces.

007 First Light story and setting

James Bond in an all-black get-up talking to a lady who's just off-screen while at a fancy event in 007: First Light

IO Interactive's take on James Bond distances itself from the movies in one key way – it's an origin story for the super spy centering on a young Bond.

The story itself sees him earning his stripes, or, well, numbers. Orphaned when his parents save his life ꦉin a mountain climbing accident when he was 11, he managed to persevere to survive the climb down. Throughout multiple boarding schools and the Navy he always butted head🐼s with authority, yet his superiors "praised his instincts". Sound familiar?

When something﷽ happens in Iceland during his Navy career, it puts him on the radar for MI6, though his superiors there don't know whether they should take a risk on him or not. He's given the chance, however, meaning he'll be on a mission to prove himself as part of the 00 programme. He's a young B🎶ond here, but make no mistake, he's not a child like in those spin-off novels that are actually called 'Young Bond'. He's just a fresh-faced spy ready for some action.

009 is described as a "master man🦩ipulator" in the trailer, so the plot may revolve around a rogue agent, perhaps nodding tow꧟ards the role of 006 in GoldenEye. Other than that, we've seen that Bond will travel to many colorful locations, similar to IO Interactive's Hitman series, and will encounter many similar beats to most Bond movies, including a super villain trap above a bunch of crocodiles.

007 First Light gameplay

We've only received a glimpse of 007 First Light gameplay from IO Interactive, via a truly thrilling introductory trailer at the recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play. The easy answer to what you'll be doing in 007 First Light from a gameplay perspective is just about anything you can imagine Boꦿnd doing in a movie.

This version of James Bond may be young, as the story sees him earning his iconic numerals, but he still has all the spy tricks you've come to know f💝rom the movies. There's gunplay, hand-to-hand combat, and gadgets aplenty. Expect oodles of stealth too considering the developers made Hitman after all, with Bond able to sneak through dangerous areas and use some kind of spy scanner, pickpocket guards, and take them out quietly.

Another sequence has him on a cat-and-mouse hunt through a nightclub that 🐼visually feels very Hitman 3. And yes, there will be car chases, and at least one cutscenes shows the young Bond dangling above some deadly crocs. Ah, villains. Emphasis is being placed on🍌 the options for players to go in loud or quiet as they please.

The studio's CEO, Hakan Abran, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:says that IO is building "the ultimate spycraft fantasy." It's expected that Project 007 will build on the incredible work the studio has done around its Hitman: World of Assassination trilogy, with chief development officer Veronique Lallier telling GamesRadar+ that working on James Bond i🏅s "so close to our DNA that it just feels seamless."

We know that IO is drawing in a lot of industry talent to get this new James Bond game off the ground, including a The Divisio🌄n and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora lead to help "design the most amazing Bond missions." 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Lallier adds: "If you look at what we've done in the past with Hitman🅠, 007 feels organic. For us because we've done, you know, stories about agents doing things. So that make🏅s complete sense. That just feels like, this is normal and natural, you know, it's part of our DNA to create an amazing story about action."

Which Bond are we playing as in 007 First Light?

The bonus skin offer in 007: First Light

No, this young version of James Bond isn't based on an actual actor who has portrayed 007 on screen.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Capcom has announced Street Fighter 6' season 3 lineup at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, with a host of fan-favou✱rites returning, and possibly the strangest DLC pick to date.

Hot on the heels of launching the game on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 and releasing Elena, the final Season 2 DLC, Capcom has confir♛med Season 3 of Street Fighter 6 will be Alex, C. Viper, Saga𝔍t, and Ingrid, courtesy of AEW pro wrestler Kenny Omega .

Capcom once again proves it can't move past Street Fighter 2, with it getting another rep this season, while Str🦋eet Fighter 3 and 4 both get a second character on the roster with Alex and C. Viper, respectively.

However, Ingrid is the funny one, she was created spe𓂃cifically for Capcom Fighting All-Sta🍸rs – a 3D crossover fighter which was canceled – before appearing in the extremely mid Capcom Fighting Evolution. The character has become somewhat of a meme within the Street Fighter community, but now she's in a canon Street Fighter game.

Meanwhile, Alex is 🗹the best possible pick Capcom could've made if you ask me. The poster boy of Street Fighter 3, who really should have been in the base ga🌟me since it's the first in the series to be set after SF3. Plus, he's one of the finest fighting game characters ever made in my fine opinion, thanks to his hard-hitting pro wrestling style. And it's single-handedly confirmed that I will be sticking with SF6 for another year.

C𝐆apcom revealed that Sagat will be coming this summer, with C. Viper following in the fall. Meanwhile, we'll be waiting until 2026 f💎or Alex and Ingrid, who are releasing in "early spring" and "late spring" respectively. We also saw a tiny bit of Sagat gameplay with an absolutely gorgeous rendition of his classic Thailand stage making an appearance.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 15 years after the banger that was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历𝓡史查询:Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game, the graphic novel series is getting another beat 'em up revealed at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest in the form of Scott Pilgrim EX, developed by Tribute Games, which was re🌱sponsible for Teenage Mutant Ninja Tu𝕴rtles: Shredder's Revenge.

Scott Pilgrim EX is an online four-player brawler that looks to be recapturing the River City Ransom-vibes of the previous Scott Pilgrim game, using what looks to be a fully-explorable map like River City Girls. Its trailer promises se🐭ven playable charactersꦉ, but only shows off Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers. Given the previous game had Wallace, Knives, Stephen, Kim, and Nega Scott, I could see Tribute Games reusing the same cast as last time. Although, given her role in animated show Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, I could see them adding Ramona's ex-girlfriend Roxie Richter to that list this time.

EX is pegged to launch in 2026 on consoles and PC (only Nintendo Switch however, there's no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 version), and it will have an original story written by Bryan Lee O'Malley (the creator of the Scott Pilgrim series). Not only that, but indie band Anamanaguchi to compos𝕴e the soundtrack following their incredible soundtrack for the original game and their songs for the animated show.

Tribute Games was founded by Jonathan Lavigne, who worked on the original Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World game at Ub𝐆isoft, so the developer is a natural fit for another Scott Pilgrim title. But even without that connection, TMNT Shredder's Revenge is one of the best beat 'em ups of the last decade, so Scott Pilgrim EX should be in good hands, regardless.

Sonic's Takashi Iizuka dunks on Mario Kart World as Sonic Racing Crossworlds unveils Hatsune Miku, Persona 5, and Minecraft Steve.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Sega has revealed a new trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, which confirmed that the spirit of the all-timer Sonic & All Stars Racing Tra🍨nsformed is alive and well.

The new Sonic racer features a host of Sega guest characters like Hatsune Miku, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5's Joker, and most importantly, Ichiban Kasuga from the Yakuza series... oh, and Minecraft's S♔teve and Alex are there, too, cause why not?

The racer is set to launch on September 25 on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and it's also been confirmed for the new Nintendo Switch 2. Note that the PC and current-gen console versions are more expensive. Sega says via a press release, though, that "there will ♉be a paid upgrade path available for owners of the Nintendo Switch version."

After the trailer debuted, Sonic's dad – Sega developer Takashi Iizuka – decided to throw hands at "another kart racing game" by announcing that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will have online cross-play. This was presumably a dig at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, which is odd, since that game is only o🅺n Switch 2... unless t🐈here was another recently released, major kart racing game we don't know about.

Despite not mentioning it at the show, the confirmed that the Minecraft characters will be included as a part of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season Pass. With every subsequent DLC getting two characters, except for one which gets four. There's also a Sonic Prime pack with variants of Knuckles, Tails, and Amy from the Netflix series coming at launch. S🌊o to get all the characters you'll need the Digital Deluxe version which is $90, so maybe don't throw shade at Mario Kart so soon.

Shockingly, Sega did not mention CrossWorlds containing SpongeBob SquarePants or other Nickelodeon series (more like SoNick am I right?) like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which were Minecraft characters also leaked alongside these other characters, so I'd wager we might be seeing SpongeBob drifting before too lon🌞g, anyway.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 is out now, and I'm sure the last thing on your mind is repairing it. But, the time may come when you need to give it some love or send it into the shop for a fix. According to one repair site, that's not goi🐠ng to be easy.

, a site that sells spare parts and 𒁃provides guides on how to fix your tech, has given the Switch 2 an abysmal three out of 10 for repairability. "Is this the best Nintendo could do?" asks the iFixit team.

Unfortunately, they reckon the Joy-Con are still going to be prone to stick drift. That's beca🐓use, as far as they can see, the redesigned controllers didn't revise the technology that causes stick drift in the first place.

After taking the console apart, they say it looks like🐭 the same po𓆉tentiometer tech used in the Joy-Con, so unless Nintendo has decided to use new material on the resistive tracks, or if for whatever reason the difference in size served as a fix, iFixit suspects the best fix will come in the form of third-party replacements rather than the first-party hardware.

On top of that, many parts are held in place with adhesive that needs to be carefully melted or pried off, including the battery, which will make replacing it tricky. There are also lots of anti-tamper stickers that will make it ve෴ry obvious if you've tried to fix the machine yourself. That being said, iFixit notes that it's been illegal in the US since 1975 to void your warranty for an independent repair, so keep that in mind.

There's also an anti-shatter film attached to the LCD screen, which apparently scratches very easily. So, look🅰 after your screen so this film doesn't scratch and become an eyesore.

The device that reads the game cartridges is soldered down to the motherboard, as are the two USB-C charging ports. These parts arℱe going to get a lot of wear when you plug in a charger or change games, and replacing them doesn't appear to be easy.

There are no spare parts or repair manuals available directly from Nintendo, so if your Switch 2 does get damaged it's not going to be easy ౠto figure out how to reജpair it yourself.

Fortunately, the fan, microphone that you'll use for the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new chat features, headphone jack, and headphone jack, microSD Express card reader are all able to 🐓be removed much more easily.

All things considered, it's easy to see why iFixit gave the Switch 2 just three out of 10. They advise you not to repair it yourself unless you're quite ex🍬perienced.

For now, instead of worrying about your console breaking, check out all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch 2 games you can try out right now, or our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 review if you're still undecided on the console.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 has been eventful, to say the least. There have been Switch 2's 澳洲幸𒐪运5开奖号码历史查询:handed off wit𒈔h a staple marring the screen, perplexing free snacks, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:swearing at the thing, and now… cow.

Moo Moo Cow is a new playable character in the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World. Regardless of differing opinions on the new open-world racing game – check out our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World review – one thing is cert🌼ain: people love this cow. The species known simply as Moo Moos has been around for a long time in the Super Mario franchise, but this is the first time one has appeared as a playable driver.

When Nintendo shared footage of Mario Kart World during its Switch 2 Direct in April, players immediately spotted the cow as one of the racers𒐪 and promptly lost their minds. Now, the opportunity has come to play as the grazing, grass-eater, and as noted, boy is the opportunity being seized.

Mario Kart World offers an open world to explore as well as local and online lobbies to race against other players around the world. Currently, those lobbies are filled to the brim with Moo Moo Cow and his dopey face. Moo Moo Cow has become unavoidable for the average M𝄹ario Kart World player, with tons of posts flooding social media demonstrating the cow's reigning popularity.

The cow's popularity is likely partly due to the fact that he's one of the few characters not locked behind a♔ny requirements. Cow is available from the get-go. Cow awaits you with open arms. So, while players grind for different playable racers, Moo Moo Cow acts as the perfect, adorable substitute. Al🌺though his realistic dirtiness is kind of extremely gross, .

Despite his occasionally dirty butt, players can't get enough of Moo Moo Cow. Check back in a week and ♔he may well have been trade for the next trendy racer, but right now, he's the most be🦂loved bovine out there.

Mario Kart World geniuses are already using the racing game's new mechanics to create incredible shortcuts and land some nefarious green shell snipes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Square Enix has confirmed that the upcoming Final Fantasy Tactics remake, The Ivalice Chronicles, will get a⛄ free Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade for owners of the original Switch version.

One of the best things from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play during Summer Game Fest 2025 was Square Enix finally announcing the long-rumorಞed Final ཧFantasy Tactics remake. Square Enix has some additional good news regarding the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 edition of the game.

If you haven't been paying attention, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 Editions of original Switch games are a bit of a convoluted case. For games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Party Jamboree, you'll need to pay an upgrade fee to get the Switch 2 version. Nintendo's own games are often a $10 or $20 upgrade depending on how much is added, while others like Fantasy Life i: Th🌃e Girl Who Steals Time are only charging $2ꩵ.50. No Man's ♐Sky decided to skirt the fee altogether, giving the upgrade for free.

Hello Games is about to have company, as Square Enix has confirmed on its (via ) that Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will have a free Switch 2 upgrade for owners of the original Switch version. And c🌸onsidering the is a code in a box, that's a relief. Now you can buy the more robust Switch version and just upgrade.

Curiously, Dragon Quest 1+2 HD-2D remake – which was also recently confirmed to be getting a ꦰSwitch 2 release – doesn't have this disclaimer on it🀅s page. Hopefully this is something ♏Square changes as we get closer to launch.

"The will to resist is in your hands": Final Fantasy Tactics writer puts capitalism on blast as the strategy RPG returns nearly 30 years later to a world still filled with "inequality and division."

One of my favorite parts of a Future Games Show is who is on hosting duties, and this showcase doesn't𝐆 disappoint either. You've got Vincent Valentine himself from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Matthew Mercer, and The Last of Us Part 2 star Laura Bailey, who you may recognize as 🔴Abby Anderson.

As for what's in store, you can expect world premieres, demos, inter🐎views, and new trailers from over 50 upcoming games from AAA, indie studios, and all else inܫ between. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The eternal rule is that if an indie game truly pops off, there's bound to be a ton of knockoffs and ripoffs following in its footsteps to try to get in on that wave. Vampire Survivors' creator Luca Galante said 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:his game was "lucky" to cut through the the influx of mobile knockoffs, and there's no doubt countless devs feel the same way. And as the biggest indie breakout of 2025 so far, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Schedule 1 is already facing the same problem.

The drug dealing simulator, which launched onto Steam earlier this year, is currently exclusive to PC, but due to the terrible standards of the console marketplaces, ripoffs have already been emerging. PS5 saw "Schedule 1: Syndicate" and "Dope Wars: Sc✅hedule 1" looking to nab the money of people who maybe aren't quite as familiar with games. And now, a day after the launch of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2, we already have a new Schedule 1 knockoff making the rou🧸nds on the eShop.

appeared on the eShop today, June 6, available for the Switch but with Switch 2 compatibility, and publiꦿshed by UIGAMES (not TVGS, w𝔍ho made the real game).

If the name wasn't enough, the key art, which I'm not 100% sure is AI, but has the generic uncanny feeling that stinks of AI art, is a dead remake of the actual art, featuring a character pointing a gun with a smoke in his mouth and with plants in the background. Except they've inexplicably🍌 given them a banana for a gun and also a rastacap.

In the past, Tyler, the creator of Schedule 1, has said that he'd🐈 "love to port Schedule I to console when the game is at the right stag𒉰e for that." With the game still in early access, it may be a while until that happens. The full release is set for around 2027 according to the game's .

And until Nintendo and Sony get better 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:quality checks for their stores, this is sadly inevitable for now.

Nintendo says it'll "be able to meet that demand" for Switch 2 through 2025, so don't worry about another PS5 situation.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong has gotten some more updates on its Steam page, and some fans once again reckon the game is goingღ to shadow drop tonight or during Sunday's Xbox Games Showcase.

To call whatever happens to Silksong a shadow drop feels a bit wrong. We've known about the game fဣor years; the only thing we don't know is exactly when it's coming out. Anyways, whatever you want to call the event, people seem to think it'll release tonight or Sunday. Stop me if this sounds familiar.

Certainly not for the first time, some changes have been logged on . Four days ago, we got a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:change to the game's trailer and 10 different languages for its achievements. Last night, we got som🀅e operating system changes added. It looks like Silksong can be played on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Act surprised.

The Silksong community reacts to every little breadcrumb with voracity, but these might be more than just crumbs. We did, after all, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:get confirmation via t𒈔he Switch 2 Nintendo Direct that the game will launch this year.

"💃It’s fucking happening," writes one fan on . "My guess is Xbox showcase but it might be today too," replies gaming news Twitter account .

The reason people believe it might come on Sunday's Xbox event instead of the main showcase tonight is that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Microsoft has been pushing Silksong for 🐷a w♏hile, so it may want the glory of announcing that i💯t's finally ready to play.

on the Silksong subreddit is even offering to buy others free copies of the game if we get more news of♔ it tonight. The catch is that you have to help them karma farm by upvoting their post, but hey, it's free.

"We've come full circle," . "The silksanity started with checking SteamDB. We had fake news as silkposts. Now, it is about to en♛d. What do we have? Checking SteamDB and fake news for silkposts. We have come full circle. This means t൩hat Silksong will be an endless loop of Hornet looping back to Moss Grotto every single time she is about to silk the song or whatever Hornet likes doing. What's on your 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest wishlist? I'd liꦉke to see a Haze r𝓡emake announced, but I'm not betting on it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser has claimed that Nintendo believes it will be able to meet supply and demand on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 consoles throughout the rest of 2025.

I'm sure we all have memories of the struggle everyone had finding PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and even Nintendo Switch consoles at the start of the decade, but so far it's seemed a lot easier to find a Switch 2 in comparison. Even if they are mostly sold out now, the good news for those looking to澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: buy a Nintendo Switch 2 is that Nintendo itself 𒉰seems pretty confident it will be able to meet demand.

In an interview with () Bowser was asked if Nintendo is going to be able to keep up with demand🌊 as Summer kicks into gear and through the holidays, and Bowser seemed confident saying, "We have a steady supply of manufacturing that will be coming in, and we believe we’ll be able to meet that demand all the way through the summer, through Father’s Day 🍬and then on into the holiday period also."

In what is perhaps less favourable news however, Bowser was also asked about the tariff situation in America. The host asked if Nintendo is planning on eating the cost of the tariffs on its own, or if that will be passed on to people buying the console, causing the console's price to rise. Bowser didn't exactly rule it out, saying "it's still a very fluid and complex situation" adding, "we're continually looking at various scenarios of how we make sure we can keep our pricing as low as possible," while talking about how Nintendo didn't raise the price of the console initially while澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: raising the price of accessories.

In any case it looks like you will be able to get a Switch 2 fairly easily if Nintendo's predictions manaﷺge to come true. Even if the tariff situation in the US continues to make the actual pricing of the console unpredictable.

No Man's Sky boss assures fans Hello Games "did not have a secret room hiding deaf kids" following the survival game's unfortunately auto-captioned Switch 2 trailer.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo-switch-2 ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't have eight years under its belt like the original handheld, but that hasn't stopped it from having a ridiculous number of accessories. Even when you take the official first-party Nintendo goodies - from the camera, to the Pro Controller, out of the equation, we're still left with hundreds of third-party accessories lining the digita🅷l shelves.

I've been lucky enough to get my hands on whole stashes of accessories for the new handheld from notable brands like Dbrand, Snakebyte, STEALTH, and more. Typically, our team likes to spend at least two weeks with every Ninty gadget before we start laying out our thoughts. But unlike the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch accessories, I haven't been able to spend enough time putting each and every one through its paces for revie𒐪w.

Even though there are still weekꦓs to go until I can fully review every single Switch 2 accessory at my disposal, there have already been some clear standouts. If🍎 you're eager to start investing in a top-tier Nintendo Switch 2 setup, these are the top 4 picks I recommend for your Switch 2 right now.

Dbrand Killswitch case

Photo taken by Rosalie Newcombe of the Dbrand Killswitch case on a Nintendo Switch 2.

NS2 Killswitch case

Dbrand's iconic Killswitch case is back, in Nintendo Switch 2 form. The case has been designed from the ground up not only to protect your new shiny handheld but to support handheld mode even when you detach the Joy-Con 2 controllers. Eve💮ry Killswitch case also comes with a Switch 2 dock adapter, which comes decked out with built-in 4k60 passthrough and doesn't get in the way of your dock's new cooling system.

ꦇThe Dbrand Killswitch case never left my OLED Steam De🍨ck, so I was more than eager to try out the iconic accessory brand's version for the Switch 2.

This time around, Dbrand has truly thought of everything. The case not only protects your new Nintendo handheld, but also provides some extra game cart storage, and gives the Joy-Con 2 controllers a💎 new, comfortable ergonomic grip.

There's a lot to love about t꧃he Switch 2 Killswitch case, but the ergonomic handles are definitely the shining star amongst its wealth of features. The original Switch would constantly bring on a pins-and-needles sensation in my hand when played in handheld mode - and I pretty much exclusively played the console on the go.

The new iterations of the controllers have that same uncomfortable flat back, which is handy for fitting the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch cases, buꦺt still just as uncomfortable as ever before. So th🥃e Killswitch's solution is more than welcome.

It's not just the handles that have caught my attention. Even though this case does add an extra bit of bulk onto the otherwise sleek console, none of the important ports are hidden. Even the new kickback stand is still accessible, as are the bottom and top💦 USB-C ports, in case you want to give your de♈vice a quick charge.

Naturally, this is one of the priciest accessories on this list, with an MSRP of $59.99, which is not going to be everybody's cup of tea. The case does come wit🌞h a custom-built Switch 2 dock adapter wi🃏th built-in 4k60 passthrough via a USB-C port, which helps justify its hefty price tag a little.

STEALTH Premium Travel Kit

STEALTH Premium Travel Kit |

This STEALTH Premium Travel Kit doesn't just include a plush, hardback case to protect your Switch 2. It also comes with space for 12 games and an extra pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers. Not to mention, ꧅the kit includes a screen protector and a charging cable so you don't have to hunt down for them separately.

UK:

꧃I've got a lot of Switch cases on my testing bench right now, but the STEALTH Premium Travel Kit is currently housing my device. The case itself is pretty bulky, so it's not ideal for those after a slim fit. That bulk means that there's plenty of room in the case, though - perfect if you like to keep your Switch 2 and its charging 🗹cable close together at all times.

The hardback design features a pouch with space for another pair of Joy-Con 2 controllers and a charging cable (there's also one in the box). I'm constantly losing chargers. Even yesterday I was struggling to find the official charger for my OLED Switch that I needed to start the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 system transfer - so having an extra one at hand is a godsend.

There's also a screen protector 𝓰in there, but I haven't yet had the time to attach it to the new 9.7-inch LCD display of the Switch 2. What I have managed to test is the case itself, which has been keeping my Switch 2 nice and safe, despite how clumsy I am with even the newest bits of tech.

My favorite feature of the case itself has to be the game storage, which sits in the middle. The side that rests upon the Switch 2 display is padded with a soft fleece material, which has kept my display free of marks and scratches. Previous cases I've owned for the original handheld would constantly leave marks on my screen, but this $45.45 / £19.99 version has kept the n🙈ew display nice and streak-free.

STEALTH Twin Controller Grips |

The St🔥ealth Twin Controller Grips make playing Mario Kart World via local co-op a treat, thanks to the easy-to-press shoulder buttons and textured ergonomic Joy-Con 2 handle𓆉s.

UK:

As you can probably guess, I've got a lot of STEALTH Switch 2 accessories at hand right now. With all the products I have from the accessory brand it's hard to narrow it down my ma෴in recommendations based off of first impressions alone, but the Twin Controller Grips are definitely up there - especially if you're a Joy-Co൩n hater like me.

These little grips have spaces to easily pop in your new Joy-Con 2 controllers, and make them far more comfortable to hold. STEALTH has made sure to included a textured surface to the ergonomically shaped handles so they don't slip around in you♒r sweat𓄧y palms.

When taking these out for a spin during some local Mario Kart World co-op, I was more drawn to the uniquely designed shoulder buttons. The twin controller grips have these large plastic plates which are easy to press, and a nicer alternative to the awkward finger stretch maneuver I have to perform in order to use the Joy-Con 2's shoulder buttons when its perched on its side.

There is still sadly some s🦹tretching involved, due to the nature of the actual Joy-Con design. Nonetheless, these controller add-ons have already make Mario Kart World a joy when playing the new kart racer with my fiancé.

SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds

The SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds weren't designed with the Switch 2 in mind, and yet they've already become one of my go-to accessories for Nintendo's new handheld. Their small size means you can easily store them in a bulky Switch 2 ca𝓀se, and they're compatible via Bluetooth and a lag-free 2.4GHz connection which makes everything from Mario Kart World to NSO games sound sublime.

UK:

Okay, so the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds have been out for a while now - long enough to have won the top spot among the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming earbuds I've tested so far. But it just so happens that SteelSeries' signature buds are also compatible with the Nintendo Swi🀅tch 2, via Bluetooth and the accompanyingꦰ slim 2.4GHz dongle.

When it comes to handheld gaming, especially of the Nintendo Switch variety, I much prefer to game in the comfort of my bed, and these game buds make that more convenient than ever. The ꧋first night I had the Switch 2, I was able to curl up under the duvet with the 90s-themed limited edition game buds in my ears, and it made free-roaming in Mario Kart World feel almost therapeutic. Not to mention, I was able to roll onto my side without the fear of a bulky headset digging into my skull, which is never not going to be preferable.

The 6mm neodymium audio drivers found in these $199.99 / £159.99 buds isn't the loudest and best sound quality you can get for the Switch 2, or any handheld for that matter. And right now, they are a bit on the quiet side, even after toggling off the volume restriction settings on the Switch 2. However, t✅hanks to its active noise-canceling feature, I've been able to play Legend of Zelda Wind Waker in bed without hearing any unwanted noise.

With th🐻e Arctis Game Buds at my disposal, playing through a childhood GameCube favorite has been more immersive than ever, and I can't wait to test t💫hem with the rest of the Nintendo Switch Online game library in the weeks to come.
